Looks like Peter Luck in the back of the cab

Chris Fawcett certainly is. My dad passed away in the same week as Peter Luck and Drew Morphett back in 2017.

Wow $25,000 for an owner licence ! That would have bought a house or apartment in some areas !

Notice how close to the steering wheel they sat back then. Now everyone sits too far away from it. It won't bite.

Drivers airbag probably had something to do with it and bench seats used to be fixed and not adjustable

The 80s when wearing a seat belt wasn't mandatory.

      1971
In Australia, front-seat seat belts became compulsory in 1969, and belts were required on all seats by 1971. It's also been compulsory to wear a seat belt since 1971.

@@samha64 no, it's definitely a HJ, grill, strip speedo & font of Kingswood badges denotes this amongst other things. Listen carefully to what he says 'it's only been a cab since Feb 78' suggesting it had a different life before taxi service.
