I used to enjoy and learn a from this man but since he started WN I no longer enjoy him anymore.
He earns passive income through youtube and has a large enough following for whatnot sales. He can afford to sit on high priced items on ebay.
eBay is old news. No one under the age of 50 uses it and it is expensive to sell on.

How can you possibly make money on Whatnot selling Levis for $3???!!! Are you buying them at .10 each???? Just because you made $30K on WN doesn't mean you made a profit. What am I missing???
I think he makes commission on bringing people to the platform. They are a Silicon Valley funded company. Growing at all cost is their business model. It attracts get rich quick minded people IE daily refinement, Nicole state etc they will eventually run out of seed investment and people will likely stop going to the site since the business model won’t be profitable
Because it is not about reselling. The youtubers like this do if for the youtube $$ and the money whatnot gives them. i have started unsubscribing from youtubers that used to be resellers first but sold out to whatnot.
@@ecoleejr that would explain a lot… AND all the people/customers on WN are probably NO LONGER BUYING ON EBAY, Poshmark, etc. Thanks, as if being a reseller isn’t hard enough.
@@angiegracie6954 He always talks about sells but never about the actual profit. I don't have a problem with WN though. In business, you will always need to adapt to changes in order to survive.
Whatnot doesn’t pay sellers like beau to be on whatnot. Where did this rhetoric come from? As someone who sells on whatnot, eBay, and poshmark, WN is a great way to supplement your monthly income AND a great way to move inventory that will sit on eBay/poshmark for 6+ months. The reselling platforms are so over saturated, you really have to depend on STR to sell your items. I put items that have a STR of 50% or HIGHER on my buy it now platforms, everything else goes to WN.
I put at least 100 items in 1 WN show. And these are all items from the bins so my average COG is $1/item. From one show with 100 items I make $800 which after fees and COGS, comes out to be about $600. Just because one thing sells for $3, others sell for $20+. Not sure how much more to break this down for you.
