Wow! I was diagnosed with a “constellation” (doctors words 😂) of syndromes including pots, ehlers danlos, scoliosis and a bunch more. Thanks for sharing your life. My husband is my career too. About to have a bathroom renovation so this video was perfect timing. Hoping to apply for ndis too. I’ve been denied once and am honestly dreading the process. Pink is your colour!
Hello 👋💕 Welcome to the channel, glad you've found us. I always like that term 'constellation'. Sounds like you've hit the jackpot of multiple diagnosis, but there are patterns in that combination, and it's important to investigate the expected co-morbidities that go along with each condition. Very relatable having your husband as your carer as well 👏💖 Setting up your bathroom sounds fun, but a challenge for Disability needs. The Windsor Walk-in Bath, sitting upright has been an absolute win for the POTS effects with showering. Good luck on your NDIS application. We talk quite a bit about the NDIS and Australian health system for conditions like your own in our channel. Yes, I'm definitely a pink girlie and love some sparkle ✨ in my life 😂
Hello Dy and Matt use are most welcome yes they are so beautiful and there colours too ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😂😂😂 my birds are cheeky too Yasbar is very cheeky he says cheeky boy lol 😂😂😂
Morning Leane 👋💕 It is pretty cool! Well worth the fight and wait. It has easily improved bathing by 80% reducing heart rate and BP spikes because of POTS. It really provides pain relief and relaxation. Pink is definitely my colour 🩷 😂
You look awesome in pink 💗 💓 💖 💕 l like seeing you both happy 😊 😃 😀 😄 you need to get some rubber duckies and 🐟 🐠 fishies 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉thank heaps from Ronnie from Geelong Vic Australia 🇦🇺 💖
This is probably going to be a silly question but I'm just curious if y'all was to move do y'all get to take the tub with you or you'll have to start all over to get another one reinstalled or how's that work??
Hi Tina 👋💕 Oh so complex. As purchased by the housing provider, it is theoretically theirs... Though logically only suitable for certain people, and fit only a few people, so likely would need to be removed for the next tenant. The provider is paid through Dyan's NDIS package as well as the rent Dyan pays, but would the provider allow Dyan to take it? IF she was to move to another property under the same provider, they would transfer the bath and install at that facility. It would be very unlikely that the provider has another suitable facility... So it feels restrictive and limiting. The reality it would most likely be another provider... Meaning Dyan has to start all over again, negotiating with the new provider for a new bath. No guarantees with anything.
Girl, I bet you were so excited and I bet that Bath felt amazing! I know you have skin conditions and allergies to be concerned with, so I probably need to communicate by email with you about Bath stuff to make sure that I send you things you can actually use. But I would really like to send you something And now that you have a box to send things to, that is gonna be nice. Cool for you, have fun and take care of yourself.
Hey Kerri 😁👋💕 You can say that again! Very exciting!! Yes, unfortunately I have very sensitive skin and react to a lot of things because of my 22q11.2DS condition which sucks 😞 Thank you so much 🙏🩷
@ awesome! And also, I noticed that Matt was saying something about baby soap, and that’s exactly the line of thought I was thinking. A lot of people are afraid of soap bars because of the lye, but upon vacation makes that neutralized, and so there is no fear to be had, I use Micah powder and natural color pigments, I also use natural essential oils, organic oils for the fats, and Kayla and Clay and I have used oatmeal and charcoal before. However, I make customized batches for whomever wants them in any shape or mold, they prefer, it’s pretty neat and I enjoy doing the hobby. for my grandmother, I do unscented and uncolored because she doesn’t like a lot of strong smells and her skin is sensitive also. I have even made soaps for animals that are safe for their skin.
Oh wow Kerri 👋💕 that is pretty amazing actually. What a very cool and self sufficient hobby, I love it! You are so knowledgeable! Dyan sounds like your grandmother, and is very sensitive avoiding colours and scents. She also uses Oatmeal type soap occasionally as well. We tend to use the rule that if it's for babies it is normally safe. 🩷
@ OK! I can handle that! I will have fun making it and she will have fun enjoying the bubbles and lather. Very awesome! do you know of any safe essential oils used in the past? Usually light essential oils like lavender chamomile and lemongrass are safe for kiddos. But it all depends on skin allergy, and I always encourage everyone to do a wrist test.
Hey Kerri, I've unfortunately found that I react to essential oils, and allergic to a lot of flowers. I'm that sensitive. So sadly best to avoid any oils and scents. But excited at cute colours. Pink and green are my favourite colours.🩷
SO EXCITED FOR YAW SWEETHEARTS ❤❤❤
Hey Tina 👋💕
