Husqvarna 701 Enduro - 2018 - Street legal dirt bike!
I wanted to ride this bike from a long time, but finally I have got this chance. I know that it's a different category and have nothing common with the light touring motorcycles I have tested so far, but I added here because of it's weight. It is only 149kg, which makes it a lightweight travel motorcycle. It is coming with WP suspension, fully adjustable, manually and great engine - 690cc-75 H.P. Of course as anything else it has some cons. The tank is only 13 l and the dashboard is simple. Because it has no windscreen and speed above 120km is really uncomfortable. It could be converted to a real adventure motorcycle, but it won't be cheap and will add some additional kg to the bike. Windscreen, big tank, maybe luggage rack and many more.

Sound is very agricultural :) Pavlin you made my day!
That is the truth...
That's a fact I know it very well ;)
with the stock muffler indeed, which is just a heavy hot as hell piece of junk. Switch to another muffler and you will ditch 2.6kg, avoid heat problems and get a racy rally raid noise
Just saw this bike on the street It can be easily recognized by the colours Really nice machine I have to say And the sound .... :) Yes I agree it was (a bit) agricultural Greetings from Bratislava
I Rode my 701 from London UK to Cadiz Spain which is 1428 miles or 2298 kilometres which was mostly highway. I was dreading the idea of the trip but was plesently surprised. At 70mph or 120/130kph the bike was easy to ride and the wind exposure wasn't unbearable. Now this is far from the first bike I'd choose to for such a journey but it can be done and it does so much better than you would imagine. Fairing kits are available for the 701 if you are looking for more wind protection but I'd say as standard the air exposure is clean and you are exposed to very little buffeting. The engine is smooth and vibration was low due to the short stroke motor. My previous bike was a 2004 KTM 950 adventure. The motor on the 950 for me had more prominent vibration. As for fuel range, at 70mph or around 120 kph you will get 130 miles before the reserve light comes on I'd say about another 30/50 miles untill empty but I'm not sure as I didn't dare to chance it. Anyhow auxiliary fuel tanks can be purchased for the 701 which allow for extended range. For me this bike is an awesome machine and few will be disappointed. I'd say if most of your miles are done on the road and you are used to riding a machine such as the r1200gsa then the 701 will feel a little crude but that's the price you'll have to pay for a more off road biased machine. I love mine and look forward to many more miles on mine.
Curious - what tyres did you use for this trip and how did they fare?
How does it compare to a 690. Or what came into your decision to get the 701 over the 690. Thanks.
Im from spain and im thinking in buying the 701, it would be cool if you record your trips
Its always a pleasure to see someone traveling by motorbike.
@@frankcrawford416 Husqvarna has better suspensions.
Great video, thanks for posting. I just got a 701 (2018) and 2 days later did 1500 mile trip half on road and half off road, and I LOVE THIS BIKE.
I ran with big side gas tanks, a tusk pannier rack and mosko moto backcountry 35 panniers with backcountry 40 liter duffle as well as a seat concepts seat and man i can NOT stop riding this machine.
I wanted a 690 just because the look of it but this came available to me and actually is better motor than same year ktm .
So easy to manuever and you are right it will wheelie in any gear if you want.
Awesome overland bike and so fun!
Your reviews are awesome. You seem unbiased, and not afraid to push a demo bike to the limits. Bravo!
I am glad that you like it!
Pavlin - your tests are exactly just your opinion - which is straight & honest that's all we ask
Correct, it is my opinion, might be totally different for you. The best way is to ride it yourself.
Awesome review.Cant wait to get mine and tear up my joints.
Gonna ride out 15 years worth of depression and anger.Oh yeah.
Good luck with your new toy!
Motorcycle Adventures Thanks!
Jake Smith well ?
Glad to hear you found a Himalayan in Berlin. Looking forward to the next video!
Small dealer, had the bike for just 15 min, but I think that it will be better than nothing...
Hi Pavel. 701 with rallykit (28L fuel capacity) and luggagerack has a total weight of 165kg without fuel.
I own the same bike in different colors (ktm 690 enduro r 2018). I can confirm all of your words about this bike. It is the best dual-sport bike I ever ride. It slim and fast in city (4.3 - 4.5 sec to 100km/h but you need to switch gears fast and fight wheelies on every gear). I use it offroad every day. Ktm has more advanced dashboard and ABS can be switched on/off or switched on front only. I was surprised that husquarna has 74hp in stock (ktm has 67hp and can be increased by ktm dealer with acrapovic exhaust and software update but it cost about 1.5k - 2k euro)
Good to know that, thanks for adding Dmitriy!
Also I like to add:
You can switch ignition maps by switch under the seat: 0 - bad fuel, 1 - soft mode, 2 - sport mode, 3 - standard. This affects on bike character.
It is not 100% hard enduro bike like ktm exc or honda crf but 50-60° angle hill climbing or forest trails with small rocks and lumber is not a problem. I guess this bike very good in cross-country rally.
Both bikes can be upgraded by aftermarket rally kits with safari tanks for better wind protection, powerfull lights and 30 liters of fuel capacity (additional tank can be connected with main tank and can be fueled from front fuel hole). And you will receive lightweight and powerfull advencher bike. "Because weight is always matter" (c)
Comfort highway speed is 130 km/h (minimum vibrations and acceptable wind pressure without windshield)
foo bar , I ordered it in december 2017 it was assembled in 2018 and received in february 2018 here in Belarus (ktm.by). It still available for order on my dealer's website but I guess my ktm 690 enduro R is the last orange enduro R.
What about the reliability of the 690?, heard its not the best is it true?
It's not the same bike in different colours dude, frame is not the same, the engine has twin counterbalances as opposed to the single one on the ktm. Husky has wp. Shocks and 25mm extra travel. Also the husky doesn't have the different fuel maps.
A bunch of other differences as well.
Similar bikes but not the same.
This is one beautiful motorcycle
I think the same, but many not...
Adventure bike making Great Adventure around some suburban roads. Bravo!!
Wonderful bike, you did raise my adrenaline and wish if I’m in your place there. I can see you did love and enjoyed riding this Husqvarna, it’s the first time we saw you cruising at 160km/h 😊
I really enjoy it! It is great bike, but too expensive and not reliable.
I love your informative and non-bias reviews, great job, keep it up! And thank you, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, for managing to review a Royal Enfield Himalayan🙏. I will be eagerly awaiting your next video.
Thanks!
There is now an updated version with two tanks. The LR gives a stated range of 500Km which removes the range issue. Do we know anymore about the reliability of this bike? It’s becoming a favourite of mine.
Thanks for this review, that I was waiting for...for me its the BEST bike (with the 690) for motorcycle adventures with some little modifications...A lots of guys out there are travelling around the world with these kind of bike without any issues.
I will agree, the bike is very good, bu the mods are not little and definitely not cheap. I haven't seen many of these bikes on the long trips. Without any issues...I think that you are wrong, but....
When I say without any issues means not more issue than any other bike and all issue can be fix like your tenere when travelling...if you ride constantly and don't race. This husky 701 or ktm 690 is considerate as a street bike in the KTM catalogue. These are not enduro bikes so the maintenance are similar to all those street bikes. The main mod is a big tank (safari tank or evo rally) takes you up to 26 liters by keeping the original tank that is placed behind under seat.. about more than 1000euros but can find for 500 second hand...confort seat like seat concept is 300 and small windshield 60euros( i have one and its ok on highway up to 120km) if you need more protection, theres a rally kit carena from albertodottori italy for 400 .. For luggage you can install a rack mounted on 4 bolts on the tank wich you cannot see on that husky 701 because its under the plastic tail. With this you can tie your luggages without hiding the tank reservoir hole...total is up to 1000-1500 or even 2000-2500 euros maximum if you change the exhaust for lighter one and small modification just like on any bike... hand grip heat..thermometer etc...with all this the weight is still about 180- 190kg fully loaded because all made of plastic or fiber glass( tank and carena). Ok total price is a little expensive i agree but with this kind of adventure bike, you will not want to stay on asphalt roads. Well, that's alot that i have to say but im not trying to convince you on anything...just sharing my point of view
I know about all of the mods, but as you said they are not cheap and not many people could afford it. Even if they have it it become one really expensive bike and real ability is still a problem. The spare parts also and you are not right, not every one could fix KTM engines. As I said it is one very good machine, I really like it, but for RTW I prefer simplicity, even that I need to sacrifice a lot of things, like power, suspension, fun factor, the most important is to ride, no matter what.
Watching you ride around the cities really surprised me how cool other cars seem to be even when you're doing 'illegal' maneuvers. Trying that around me gets you tons of horns, middle fingers, and I've even had a couple people try to hit me for lane filtering.
Yes, German drivers are very strict and polite.
A perfect review for a perfect bike
I really enjoyed that 'illegal' ride, Pavlin 😉.
At last a bike that is big enough (apart from the tank, perhaps). I do like big singles and would seriously consider riding long distances on one of these. I'd avoid autobahns however - they're never much fun - and the lack of screen would limit top speed..... but it would still be FUN!
Thank you for yet another useful review 👍
Definitely good fun to ride. Thanks for watching!
130 km/h without windscreen it not a problem if you have windproof jacket. Also you can buy small windscreen from your dealer or even aftermarker dakar rally plastic.
I have a 701, it's a perfect both enduro and adventure bike, can do everything (I commute everyday to work, go on enduro afternoon and travel both road and off road)
Lucky you...
What amazed me most of this bike was the suspensions. You could rider over a car and barely feel it. What I didnt like was the engine overheating as soon as I was in the city. Seat is very thin, but the suspensions compensate a lot for the seat.
True
I always think of the 701/690 as a bit of an in between bike, too heavy for a dirt bike and lacking the extras for an adventure bike.
Here in Australia the 701 is just over $16,000, if you want a rally kit, extra fuel and fairing, they start at around $5000- 6000, that makes it the same price as a KTM 1090.
A KTM or Husky 500 is a lighter more dirt orientated bike and cheaper so better off road.
No denying the 701 and 690 are great bikes but would be so much better if they styled them more like the old 640 KTM.
Under seat tank is good idea but filler neck position could have been better and lack of rear sub frame is a worry.
Great review again Pavlin.
👍👍👍👍👍
Yes, it is very good bike exactly somewhere between dirt and adventure category.
I'm still taming it and I love it so far, i'm not doing end of the world journeys so I don't need a big petrol tank. Its perfect for me off road fun and you can always go to the road at a decent speed :)
Whatever suit to you just ride it.
you forget to tell peoples here that if you take out the rear wheel, you can use the bike to cut a Tree ! its husqvarna remember ?
Yes, dual sport and dual purpose bike...
Aliana khamitova but for best perfomance you need to replace stock chain with husquarna saw chain :)
Excellent reviews. Keep up the good work!
I will, thanks!
Hej Pavel. The 701 is not just a 690 with a different colour scheme. Different frame and tank. In 2017 it got the newest engine from ktm with two balancing shafts. Different mapping and so on.
I went to Northcap in Norway on my 701 enduro last year. In average I got 250km on the stock tank and at one time 300km. Nice review.if the bike I LOVE it. But you are right, it sucks for long stretches on the highway.
I know that it has some changes, but this was the best way to describe it, because many people are already familiar with KTM 690, but know nothing about 701.
I really like your review of different bikes! I´m same height as you, a little bit heavier (but working on it...lol) so with your review of the bikes i can relate to my own size! Excellent work!!!
I am glad that the channel helps!
Now you're testing most of the motorcycle in the International Motorshow. Tq.
Some how, yes.
Its being launched in India too, your review was excellent.
Thanks!
I was maybe thinking of buying the Africa twin next but I really like this bike. Much lighter and most of my rides are only 100km or so. I try to count how many rules you break each video but it is impossible, you have to ride in every lane lol good job
Well, I broke a good number of rules...
Who makes the stupid rules anyway. Some great riding.
This bike makes rider to brake all the rules. I can't remember more daredevil bike (except supermoto version of this bike)
First Class review, enjoyed it..
Hi Pavel i have 2016 model and just few more comments More :cons 1)The exhaust muffler gets very hot 2)Light is lousy at night 3)handlebar clamp ( in the middle) produced of soft Aluminium and with one drop of the bike it will bend like a plastic.
Good to know, thanks for adding!
Thanks alot for this review. Yesterday I also tested the 701 SM. highway was bad.
Iam asking what you think about the VStrom 250/650. Is it too heavy? I mean, reliability should be nice and cheap.
I will test it very soon.
Motorcycle Adventures also interested what you think about the Tracer700.... hate to wait for the T700 =P
Pavlin ... great video buddy.
You have a great homework still have to review suzuki v storm 650 and the tiger 800 too.
Also the new tenere 700 is comming soon.
Keep up with all these great videos.
Suzuki is on the list the Tiger already did it last year: ruclips.net/video/0Bo1L4_dS6Y/видео.html
Fantastic review as always , thank you .
You are welcome!
My dream adventure bike! Trading in my R1200GS for one. Just disappointing there's no rev counter and gear indicator like the 690 Enduro.
Yes, it is very simple.
I am 98% sure dashboard + headlight from ktm 690 enduro can be mounted to husqvarna bolt-on
The 2019 KTM 690R has the same dash as this Husky (no rev counter etc and powered by a watch battery!). Why KTM would do this I have no idea when you look at the new TFT displays they have on their other models. On a plus side the 2019 690R has switchable ABS and traction control that also works at lean angles as well, so my money would be going on the KTM 690R given the choice. The downside is your paying £1000 extra for the bike in the UK for that extra tech; its worth it in my mind though.
Hi, i have a 2012 KTM 690, 27000 km now and no engine problems.I get close to 300 km out of one tank if you take it easy.I als had handlebar vibrations but bar end weights solved it completely.only problem is that it runs a bit rough below 3000 rpm but the new engines are muh better in this respect.
Good to know, but keep in mind that 27,000km are not much. I hope it will stay the same in the future.
Great video Pavlin, as always a good honest review and your own biases explained. One minor suggestion is if you really need to do all the illegal riding( splitting lanes passing on right, etc.) please cut it from the video. This does not help the high esteem most of your viewers have for you . Any way keep them coming!
I am what I am. I see no reason to pretend to be somebody else, but thanks for the advice!
This big Husky is kind of bike meant to be ride this way..you can't be blame, the bike dynamic charastric put you in state of enthusiasm ; shorts cut are willcome..fantastic bike with the true adventurer.
Well said, thanks!
Joel Albinowski No issue at all with his riding. He is not a driving instructor and old enough to know what he's doing. He's not pushing you to ride this way, nor is he promoting it.
Also just because lane splitting is not allowed in Germany doesn't mean it isn't everywhere (e.g. in England)
Exactly, thanks for the support Tolga!
I just done 2200 miles around france n spain most off road it was the nuts 👍 fast n light .
I am sure that it was really good fun!
Been waiting for this one!
No more waiting thought...
Royal Enfield Himalayan coming on Tuesday.
Not my cup of tea but will watch... for me it's in between the 701E, Tenere 700 and 790 AdvR. But leaning towards the twins for now!
Loved it! It's slightly different class you are reviewing now, but it can still be adopted to touring 👍
Yes, with some modifications it could be done. Actually, any bike could be converted to a travel machine.
Nice and concise video.
A little biased in places, but a job well done.
If you say so...
now Pavlin you are a city Hooligan...😁👍
Wow, this bike pushed me to be...
Now you are talking - the later version of my Husqvarna Terra 650 which l used for Australian Desert Rides - awesome bike, Safari make long range fuel tanks
I will agree, but not really for long rides...
Hi PZ, how does this 701 compare to the ktm 690? Your video on that bike, though great for off road, might not be good for other parts of the travel. Is this Identical? Thanks.
Basically it is the same bike.
You Star Pavlin, another great review
Glad you enjoyed it!
excellent review
Thanks!
I've owned a 450 husky and I feel exactly the same for husqvarnas...my mind is on this 701 long time now maybe I end up getting one finally..btw I own a 990 adv atm
2019 ktm 690 is really hot also👊
I think I'd go with a shorter supermoto with tubeless. Keep another set of dirt wheels for long week-end bikepacking. The nice thing about the smaller manufacturers when travelling is that they will tend to serve your model. The Japanese can have a range of models not sold in a particular country.
It has some negatives as well - no spare parts for example.
I rode in parallel with someone with a new carbureted 690 for 20k km with no probs.. He knew that at about 30k he might have to do engine maintenence. The 690 design has gone from durability to longevity, but should be durable for most.
Picking mine up today!!
Enjoy it!
i have a friend with ktm 690, road version, with 17" tyre, and when we ride around 300km he finished destroyed by vibrations and the stiffness of the bike. However, 2 guys on youtube ride from london to sydney with the ktm 690, so the choice is always personal. I have a cb500f and probably for me the cb500x will be the perfect travel bike because i really like this bike, also becouse i'm able to ride 400km with a 16l full tank, and on long distances the price of the petrol is one of the most expensive things
Yes, everybody have some preferences and point of endurance...
getting mine in a few days - whats your licence plate holder solution? - looks much better than the original
Pavlin , how would you compare the performance and stability on the freeway as compared to the Adventure R / S . Right now I have the opportunity for a good deal on a lightly used 17 701 . You quick reply would be most appreciated . thank you for all you do Sir . Your comments carry much weight with many of us .
The engine is KTM 690, with small upgrades. The new 790 need to prove itself and so far is not going well in terms of reliability. The R model have a problem with stability, the S model is fine. 701 is very basic, almost like a dirt bike and if you want to use it for traveling you need to spend around 2000 euro before even start. Bigger tank, fairing, seat...
Thank you, for the review, brother!!👍
You are welcome anytime!
Beautiful bike, what’s not to like about any Husky? They just ooze class, but at 175cm tall I just won’t fit! I Put the first 200 odd kilometres on the new 250 Rally today, through the Pennines and surrounding farmland (my home turf), and I am delighted with my choice.
Good, enjoy it!
Excelent demo ride analisis Pavlin! You just made my day with your test drive and coments.
How tall are you?
Saludos desde México
I have a 2012 Yamaha XT660X right now. Nice bike, but heavy compared to the Husqvarna. When its time to upgrade, I will probably get a 701 Enduro. I also live in Berlin by the way, would love to go ride my bike with you if you ever want to host a subscriber meetup ;)
Good machine enjoy it. Yes, we can meet each other some times, why not.
Great review. ...it's a great bike but I would still rather do a big trip on my Tenere! Looking forward to the launch of the new Tenere. ..hopefully you will be able to test ride one. Steve
Fully agree, real ability vs fun factor. I will always take the first option.
I seen comments from other reviews from riders saying these bikes are notorious for engine oil leaks, is this the case ? otherwise i will buy one
Reliability is not their powerful side.
Coincidentaly I went to see this bike on thursday 10 may at the local dealer in my country. You made my weekend with this video review. It is really a great bike: powerful and light at the same time though a little bit tall to me. however I´m trying to figure it out a solution for this matter. I´m more inclined to light and single piston (dual sport) as an adventure bikes. Thanks a lot for the great review
Thanks for watching Jose! I am glad that I helped!
Koubalink: to lower down the bike
Thank you for the information
You answered most of my questions pavlin.
The small fuel tank especially.and would you be able to get parts in some countries if you broke down.
Great review as always 👍👍
Thanks Paul! I am glad that the video helps!
my worry about parts also .., not too many Husqvarna dealers , they are few and far between
Most spareparts can be used from ktm 690. And many parts is universal and can be used from any bike or scooter (chain, bearings, relays etc)
In Russia some guys used fuel pump from Lada Kalina car instead of stock :)
thanx for review, just a quick clarification - how is vibration at 120km/h? would it be comfortable to cruise at that speed (I know the wind issue, but I am concerned about vibration. thanx in advance for your replay!
It has some, not that bad, but it has.
"All in the name of a proper test". LOL ! Great review !
At 5'7",140 lb (170 cm and 63 kilos) its a bit to big for me.
It fits you perfectly.
Yes, it is a tall bike.
How tall are you? How does height of this bike work for your personal height?
I know, it's an old vid Pavlin,
but what do you think about the 'new' 701 LR ? Maybe add a windshield. Ready for long adventures ?
I am considering the 701 LR or the Yamaha T7. The 701 LR weights 50 kgs less!
That's a big plus in my book. Am also 185 cm
I have to ride it first.
You're wrong about one aspect. It's far more economical than you think. 13l is small indeed, but the Husky will go at least 300km. 3.5l/100km is absolutely doable.
It might do it, but you have to be very gentle with the throttle, which is not easy with this engine.
What is the vibration like compared to your 660 tenere.
Hello
are you sure about the height of the seat ? 88 cm !
i thought it was 91 cm.
Hey I see you started your middleweigt series, any chance we can see SWM Superdual in your series soon?
No. Only one very small shop and they don't have test bikes, sorry!
You commented

"I really enjoy it! It is great bike, but too expensive and not reliable."
Please elaborate . I am not currently aware of reliability issues ...so far
Google it. There are not many Husqvarnas on around the world trips.
Hi Pavlin, the Husky seems to be a enormous powerful bike. But i guess, only with really a lot of modifications useable for long distances ... Ride safe, Hans
Correct and they are not cheap. We are taking about 2,000 + euro on the top of one already expensive bike.
It depends on your acceptable comfort level. If you want to make honda goldwing from this is cheaper to buy goldwing.
As for me: 55euro for windscreen + 150euro for ergo seat + 280euro luggage racks is enougth for touring.
Or 1k euro for rally fairing kit with led lights instead of windscreen is more than enought
I have a really little knowledge about the brand Royal Enfield, so i'm looking forward to your next video.
And a big thanks for this good review.
Thanks for watching Ahmed!
You made the answer to my queation i was thinking" would a Real dirt bike be good for an adventure bike"
Definitely, but with a lot of changes and it's really depends from the bike. On this bike the service intervals are 10,000km, but on some dirt bikes are 10-12 working hours.
I love your reviews as well as your opinion. As you said the next bike is Royal Enfield, so expect a slow ride... I did tried this bike as a dealer is just few hundred meters away from where I live. I am wondering if your review and opinion will be same as mine.
Have a Great Weekend
Kind Regards
Thanks Michael! Well, I had the Enfield for just 15 min. The dealer is very small and they have only one bike. I dis not have the chance to ride it properly, but it is still better than nothing. -the video is coming on Tuesday.
I'd love to see you test the Zero DS. Similar power, 30 kg heavier, no vibration.
I will test Zero XS soon.
Motorcycle Adventures Wow, looking forward to that one.
Very nice video. Thanks!
Thanks!
Lol im 5"7 and pretty comfortable riding it not like i had a choice to get used to it
This bike is My favourite
Great Adventure Bike, Best Regards!
That's really nice! Unfortunately, by the time you change the fuel tank and seat and add a windscreen it'll be something else entirely. But I sure like it. This makes the argument for owning two or three motorcycles and cars.
Yes, it will become different and very expensive bike.
There is a company advertising a really solid looking rally screen/front end under 1000€. They also offer a under seat tank expansion.
I don't remember their name off the top of my head, but I think they were from eastern Europe and they have a RUclips channel as well. So you can find them quite easily
Rade Garage
Peter Bonivart Yes! Exactly
Sorry for the typo, TROLL. I meant to say "carbines".
are the tires not dangerous for the street road use in high speed nor cornering ?
btw , its good if you also teach good riding way , like DO NOT to cross the line , not to go zig zag between any other vehicles etc. because young riders will learn from you how to ride bikes legaly on the street.i saw on your video specialy the asia tour , the line and zig zag are your best friend.
The tires are 50/50, no problems on the street. About my riding style...I am not instructor...I have no goals to teach anyone to ride, just want to help you to make your trips easier.
Where are you for this video? It looks like a beautiful day. What is the temperature like at this time of year?
I am in Berlin, Germany. It was great about 20 degrees.
Too bad, no husqvarna dealer here in hungary.....this bike is awsome...
True, it is great bike
Will you ever do a WR450 review? I have that and use it around town.
No test ride bike in the shop, sorry!
great thank u..i just bought one ....😁
Enjoy it!
Do the SV650X review please?
Coming soon.
Motorcycle Adventures thank you sir!
Are these handguards different than on the sumo?
Very inspiring. Thx
You are welcome anytime!
I follow your Vlog since few months and I really enjoy them. Would love to buy this Husqy but I’m living in Thailand and theses types of bikes are overpriced because the importation taxes. What is your next Adventure bike trip ? This summer ? Cheers
Thanks Claude! About my next trips you can read here: rtw-adventures.com/my-next-trips-1.html
will you do a test on old tenere 750? or mybe on the old honda africa twin 650 :)
No, I reviews only new bikes because I can take it for test ride from the shops.
It is interesting. Where is this place?
When talking from these things, the description of the country and places need to be sensitive
I am based in Berlin, Germany.
So I have a good friend in Berlin. I will meet once my Germany trip on motorcycle
Germany and stau....always...good review again...
Thanks for watching Toby!
what is the thing you said at 12:10 is not legal in germany but legal in the UK ?
Filtering between cars
Great review thanks
You are welcome anytime!
Pavlin, to take a new bike for a test ride do you go to a local dealer or the factory?
Local dealer.
You always do great reviews.
Does it shows fuel light for low fuel in tank?
Yes
Motorcycle Adventures finally I know the answer thank you
Now you have tested an enduro bike on tarmac. Next for example a BMW RR1000 in the woods, please. :)
I have tested the road and travel possibilities of the model. For off road tests find another channel.
Beautiful bike, this and also the 690,but, a lot a lot a lot of problems, i can wrote you a book with the problems that i found every week
I know about that, that's why it is not going to be my choice.
Really good bike and great video. For 11000€ , you may have the AJP PR7 650cc do you think you can test it? Not sure you could find dealer in Gerrmany.
Forgot to say that AJP is from Portugal and they re already prepared for rally and 17l tank
I would love to try it, but no dealer near by.
Will you be checking out NC 750X? It's not really an adventure bike, but Honda pretend it to be. It should be at least as good as the cb500x.
I already have the bike, but it would be cool to hear your opinion. A few tips what to change for long trips would be epic.
Yes I will. It will be the DCT version. The video coming soon.
would the rear frame be able to take any weight for luggage as I doubt it has been designed for this?
If you go to soft luggage, no more than 20kg, yes.
It can take a passenger so...
I did not know it was built to take a pillion - thanks for the info
you need a pannier rack that transfers the weight down to the passenger footpeg bracket
Island Dreaming this sounds more a feasible solution - cheers
