Hi Maria ❤ I guess the issue is that perfumers, for the longest, have not been considered artists but just employees executing on a script. So there’s no intellectual property for them 😮
I saw an interview from Calice 13:18 Becker, she seems to be embracing the view of the perfumer as an artisan and not an actual artist. Not sure if she talked in name of the company she works for .
They mean so much sometimes, a fragrance, so indeed I’d like to know more from its creator.
