You've taken all the best players.. Eddie .. Randy.. Darrell... just to name a few.... and created your own style and tone that is FN incredible..!!!!!!!;!!!!!!!;;!;!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could see you playing for Ozzy.....
Josh is a rare talent. He is also totally dedicated. It reminds me of young Ed VanHalen. He would rather sit at home and play every waking moment instead of drinking and chasing tail . That kind of discipline is very rare and I surely did not play every night at his age. All day maybe, but never 12 hrs. a day. I played 4-6 hrs. a day in my teens and up to about 22 yrs. old. I STILL cannot play with that amount of discipline. My shot at making it big has come and passed. I still play every day for at least an hour or more sometimes. I want to follow this young man, and see if he can bring some "REAL" TALENT back to mainstream music. We have become saturated with computer driven drum tracks, and bass lines sampled from old songs, with some no talent rap over it. It is stiff and has no fuggin MOJO in it! You can feel it. Anyone with a pro-tools set-up in the basement can put out a song and post it for free on you tube. The record industry is dead. We need the Joshua Jones`s of the world to come out and kick some serious ass!!! I am with Joe Walsh on this whole musical mess. JOSH, WE NEED YOU and some bassist, a drummer and a good vocalist to make some HEARTFELT ROCK/METAL AGAIN!!! Bless you kiddo, and GO AND BRING IT BACK!!!
Man would love to hear you play Randy's version of Children of the Grave from the Tribute Album. Great job, clearly you are very talented but also passionate with your playing. Love to see it, keep rocking
@ Clifford Amey.....yeah, I see the Marty right hand all the way. This kid is superb!! I have been playing a looooong time and I gotta say, that in terms of total control over every technique from EVH to DD is beyond my expertise! I have not covered every technique of every guitarist in Rock/Metal, as it seems Josh has done.Damn, I don`t even want to!!! No matter what, this kid deserves every chance at making a career of playing the guitar. He is BRILLIANT. IMHO , he overbends in too many spots and uses pinch harmonics too much. When ya do that they become all too much and lose their spice. Bottom line is that this kid is ONE WITH HIS GUITAR. KILLER TONE and player!
gregory macdonnell ... I agree with you to much over bending and to many pinch harmonics but it’s not bad when you do those two things to much Zakk Wylde always comes to mind I think but this kid is very good you can tell he is a natural player
@@cliffordamey4822 He is friggin amazing, and I wish him all of the best. Maybe he , and other really good players his age will bring back some serious , talented and likable new bands. Enough of this pro-tools, auto-tuned rap/pop bullshit!! It is rare when you see a kid practicing 10-12 hrs a day . I played at my peak ,way back in the late 80`s and early 90`s up to 7 hrs a day. But when nightime came around, if I was not playing out at a gig...it was full out drinkin and snorting coke. He does not even drink, and that alone is going to make him miles ahead of most everyone else!! I like the kid.
Dude you are an amazing talent ! I saw in one of your videos that you vape take it from a smoker get rid of that habit so you can live long and enjoy your gift .
Where you located? I'm a vocalist in a metal band...bands on YT are Karion "Iron Shadows" (full), Warchild (demo), and Talisphere (demo). Trying to finish full CD with Talisphere now.
Yoni Kup i wasn’t aware of vibrato until my 5th year of playing. I saw a betcha can’t play this video of Doug Aldrich and started to make my own up. I’d say listen to players with great vibrato like yngwie, Doug, John Sykes, Van Halen. Guys like that
@@Briman24 Lynch was a one trick pony. He played sporadic little phrases, and legato pull-offs, hammer-ons picking 1 note per string. He is a very , very limited player. If you like him that is your right , and if everyone in the world liked one type of music, we would all be fucked. I am just making a technical statement about guitar playing. Don`t take it as an insult to you. I am NOT insulting you.
@@Briman24 I surely would not say that his vibrato is poor, I was just basically stating that he is really not a very well rounded player. He does everything in little phrases. For instance, his "master song" Mr. Scary, while it sounds really cool, and is produced very well, you can hear that there are a shitload of little parts of solo`s thrown together to make it sound like a thought out complete solo. GL is not the only one who did that in the 80`s. Actually it was very common. It is called "punching in" in many cases. Others, it is the producer splicing tape together. Hey ,even the great EVH did that on "When Push comes to Shove" when he could not find a fitting solo to the groove of the song. So he did about 6 takes, and they put them together. If you listen to the solo...you can hear the tone is even different in different parts. But I am not going to put GL and EVH on the same level. One guitarist I really like from that L.A. style is Warren Di Martini, he is a fantastic player.

Like combining Dime EVH and Rhoads can tell all have influenced him and love the Slash look
Dime’s look before cowboys from hell
Awesome to see your genuine enthusiasm for guitar, keep rockin' Joshua\m/
Why he even sounds like Bob Ross's kid, no?
Ran, cid..itsa loss alright.
Good job! Not many younger folks jammin to the older tunes anymore. Nice to not only see it, but to also see it done very well!!
People who don’t play have no idea how much FUN playing is. This guys obviously having the time of his life. GO YOUNG MAN, GO!!!
Yep! There's Ozzy's next guitarist right there! Ozzy doesn't play around when he picks a new guitarist and this guy fits the bill.
Totally!
I would love to hear him play Bark at the Moon!.
But can he write songs and create his on master pieces?
@@ajfedz yes
Let me hear it!@@ddmmian
The way you attack the songs you play is superb! !
its awesome to see the torch being passed on and carried high by the younger generation...RR said he would love to be remembered this way.
That was absolutely incredible. That is all.🤘
That was a pleasure, as always, best of luck Josh \m/
