We lost power twice on Friday, but thankfully during the day. Glad you were well prepared. Hope you had a very, merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

Hah! Yup, definitely need to make sure the fuel is on. I won't make that mistake again!
I bet! It's funny because I noticed after your video that my fuel lever is "backwards" compared to a plumbing ball valve. the lever parallel with the pipe is off. I immediately saw how that could trip you up!
That stabil is great stuff, my lawn mower starts first pull,every year for 25 years. We have only lost power maybe twice in 40 years and only for a couple hours. Lucky I guess.
I agree, even after 2 years that fuel wasn't even starting to smell "off" yet

Finally catching up on videos. Our power was out for about 4 days at Christmas and no internet for a week. Nice setup you have Dave. Good tips on storing the generator.
4 days is a long haul, I've only had a couple extended outages like that. Funny you post this today, I just put the generator away after a good 20 hour outage last night!
