I can remember having 2-3 feet of snow in Ontario in the 70s 'and it wasn't out of the ordinary in the winter....I remember having to literally dig my car out several times from snow storms

I actually like the Canadan reporters. They appear to give more information, and more accurate information too. Then America’s reporters and it’s evident that Americans are more interested in rapid screen changes and short blerbs with little to no information contained.

We've only had about 1cm of snow total this winter in Delaware ,US and I envy them folks.

what in the hell was the silver dodge in such a rush to pass a SEMI like that... that was just dumb!! this is the north.. slow down, and remember the snow will fall... roads get slick, and people forget how to drive.. so make sure you have some standby food at home, and a few board games to keep you entertained. light a few candles, and bundle up to keep warm... it'll be over in 6 months or so..

Here in Kansas City, Missouri (near the middle of continental US), the winters have been getting colder for the last five or six years.
Time to look at storm drains and where water can flow in the weeks ahead.
Keep carbon monoxide in mind keep vents clear.
Be extra careful basement apartments too.
When Germany become a snow approximately 1,5 cm high is chaos on streets.
So snow emergency north, flood emergency south. Thats a lot of moisture in the air. Just to be clear the sun is in a grand solar minimum so that will effect the weather here a little. Consider it an offset to global temp rise for now. But when the minimum is over and the sun returns to normal activity we may have a problem. Also this is a deep solar minimum really big there is a possibility of another carrington event like the last one in 1859. Ofc back then electricity was still new. Now days it would be a disaster, everything in our world is run on some type of electrical current.
Wonder how the climate change alarmists will explain this one.
