Hi there. I just ordered that model and it's coming tomorrow 😁. I find Tamiya glues to be excellent, and use them all the time. If the liquid 'Extra Thin' or 'Quick Set' isn't working for you, try the 'Multipurpose Cement' (best applied with a toothpick). Other good brands are Gluemasters Thick, Devcon Duco and Testors. When assembling, I use this technique: Apply glue along both surfaces with the brush. Apply again and allow a moment to partially dry but still sticky, then set the pieces together, holding for 30 seconds. Once I have a bond, I go back inside the seam and apply glue along it, then I set it aside to fully dry. Cement will give a stronger bond, but it can be messy, and too much damages the surface. Hope this helps! 😀
I built this kit 50 years ago. Back then it was a good build for me. Learned a lot it sharpened my model building skills with it.
中学生の頃に苦労して三段空母にしようとして廃棄してしまいました。今と違ってお金も道具もありませんでした。
I am planning to buy the Hasegawa Akagi but some Tamiya glues are too weak and require a long time to be solidified, so what is the best glue to use.
