Super informative watching you get the hook out of that pelican. I knew to put a towel over its head/eyes if/when it happens, but seeing how you have to move fast after throwing the towel on its head and firmly grab the head, allowing you to grab its neck and start working on releasing the hook was super helpful for if/when it happens to me. Great video!
🌴 Hey thon, it’s tuff fishing with the weather , ya had so good snapper, hard ta get a parking spot there signs everywhere, nice bike , ya got like three or four now ? 🤔 should of tossed that small mullet out there 👍🏼
Nice Catch and Release Thonny. I'm surprised it didn't happen more often. I think those Pelicans are pretty tame since they are Always looking for a free meal from us Humans. LOL Great Job
Saw u at the Bay Pier today. Lost lots of snapper after you left but i got 4 keepers. Ill hook you up with bait if i see you next time. I had more than enough😂
I'll be coming your way in a couple weeks. Ive been told that I need to do a collab with you on SEVERAL occasions. haha If you're down then maybe we can discuss it more, but I'm game! -Dee
They stay here all the way until the winter time in Hudson. Those fat 10.5 inch mangs always have the sacs of eggs. Try to let a few of those go after catching on after all the years of harvesting them. Every large 13 or 14 most of the time is a big female
That spot is actually closed and My Grandson and I got kicked out by the police. The cop was pretty rude asking if I didn't know how to read the posted signs.

Love the frenzy of mangrove snapper besides upcoming rain. Like the solid double catch (pelican).
Any reasons you dont use carolina rig for those snappers? And also on the bridge produces heavy numbers
I use it sometimes. I haven’t fished the bridge for them yet. I just can’t fish at night anymore 😂 getting old!
Very cool ebike, so easy to get around. Good fishing too Thonny :)
Love your videos, i know you always talk about your gear but would love to see a video about what rigs and tackle you like to use.
