UK people love Japanese people!
You're welcome! ❤
We are a bit old fashioned, some people in England have motor cars…
I love the Nissan Japanese cars especially the retro ones like the Figaro and the Escargot…the cars that time forgot….but we can only get them on secondhand import…
Excellent! How wonderful to see The Emperor and Empress of Japan alongside our gracious majesties King Charles & Queen Camilla . I hope the Imperial family have a most enjoyable visit. Long reign our Royal families.
theres record levels of poverty with 16 million people using foodbanks. 3 million children in poverty. and that mafia family in the Palace having stolen everything they own-tonight they will host a banquet and gorge themselves -when theres 300,000 people homeless and them parasites in the Palace have 7 royal residences with thousands of empty unused rooms.
✨✨🇬🇧🤝🇯🇵✨✨Thank you very much for Great Britain and British people from Tokyo Japan ❤🙏✨✨
Great Comment! Have subscribed to Your Channel! 👍
It cost approximately a meesly £2 a year per person income tax for our Monarchy. The price of a cup of coffee, l would willingley pay double ( £4 ) the price of a cappuccino. Everyone has to pay Income Tax. So proud of the UK. So majestic. Wonderful. Marvellous. Amazing.
Great Comment Barbara! ❤
If you had an elected president it would cost pretty much the same. But there wouldn't be the benefits like diplomatic and economic relationships and - of course- a high turn out on tourism.
And we make way more than £2 back on tourism. So Idk what people are complaining about
£140,000,000
WOW! No one knows how to put out a Welcome like the British! Bravo! ❤️🇺🇸
Another majestic turn out. Brilliant. Well done all.
Thank you to everyone in the UK for your warm welcome to Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. I was overcome with emotion.
I am so proud of my King and Country.🇬🇧
why? theres record levels of poverty with 16 million people using foodbanks. 3 million children in poverty. and that mafia family in the Palace having stolen everything they own-tonight they will host a banquet and gorge themselves -when theres 300,000 people homeless and them parasites in the Palace have 7 royal residences with thousands of empty unused rooms.
As you should be! 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Yes indeed! If only our politicians could be of the same quality
Great Show : I love watching it! ❤

King welcomes Emperor of Japan with pomp and pageantry | HIGHLIGHTS 1433pm 25.6.24 historically speaking..... this would have been worthwhile watching on tv - live...
Hefty price tag for the public purse!
The poor Guards must be sweltering in this heat.
@@LizzieAnneCRUDEN Comments on ‘King welcomes Emperor of Japan with pomp and pageantry | HIGHLIGHTS’ 1459pm 25.6.24 i am sure they asked the japanese to fork out... i wonder if the same applies when royals go aboard - whether they're asked to cough up to assuage rising state visit costs? does it concern me? not really..... what would the money be spent on if it was funneled into other projects.... probably PM visits to other wayward nation states.... vulurius the lot of 'em!!! failing that turdus turdus..

Dumbass comment of the day..
There are kings and there are kings - thankful that we don’t’t have a king like the one in Thailand

The formal abdication of Emperor Naruhito's much loved and respected father, former Emperor Akihito, followed by the ascension of Emperor Naruhito is a must see. It is a rare poignant moment in history.
thanks a lot! uk!
Amazing. It's like a real movie. The Prince of Wales is also impressive and looks like the real thing.
👏👏👏
Everyone got those samsungs and hondas. Long live japan emperor 👍🏻👍🏻
Samsung is a Korean company. If you prefer Japanese products, please choose Sony, Panasonic or Cannon instead of Samsung.
I love my 97 Honda and still drive it. Thank you, Japan!

I hope they’ve fixed the boiler in Buckingham palace…
Im remind of the stark difference of the Empress meeting the King. Dressed for the occasion....classy. Versus when First Lady Michelle Obama met the Queen. Exited the car, short skirt and sleeveless shirt. Just classless.
The royal relationship is always good for the alliance
Even though it's the pie in the red wolves eyes
And then their followers will write more and more negative news in their own place 😅
But isn't it? ...Is it because my child is so lacking in thought that he goes out without thinking and is being treated with "rudeness"?
Aren't they trying to keep the press from reporting? ...Looking at the current Emperor, does he think too much and express too much emotion?
So I? ...Is it no good trying to be smart? Is it no good to overturn the ``model rules'' that have existed since time immemorial and say ``I'm smart''?
That's why, since ancient times, the Emperor has said, ``Whatever you say, you shouldn't be able to see it in a subtle way, and you shouldn't be able to see it in a subtle way, and you shouldn't be able to see it in a subtle way.'' It emanates so faintly that it cannot be seen, shows its direction, and compels its subjects to obey. If he can't do that, he can't serve as emperor. So you only go out when your parents die? Is everything else in the name? Is it because if you act, there will be pros and cons? Is it because the Emperor is not responsible even if the representative makes a mistake? I can't understand that, no matter how close I am to him, no matter how much I want the Order of the Garter? Do you prioritize your emotions and get treated as ``rude'' when you go out? This is an act that the Emperor should not commit. Is “rudeness” the worst thing that reduces national prestige? The foolish “pathetic” emperor who sent him?
At 10:44 Who is the man at the right of the Prime Minister? Why is Mr. Cameron there?
Cameron is our Foreign Secretary..
Considering the respect and attention D Day veterans received this month, I think allied service men who survived the war crimes of Imperial Japan must be feeling very betrayed by the display of the same rising sun flag flown in London as above their POW camp. I hope the emperor makes a visit to a cenotaph and acknowledges Japanese war crimes.
How much this cost ?
Why do you care

Country is falling apart but yeah lets spend millions on things like this.
What an uneducated comment.
A lot of trade deals worth millions get signed on these occasions
@@whiskers1776 no they dont. supply evidence for your claims from previous visits..
@@LdevArt if not deals - it does foster relationships to have lucrative deals!
this isn't supposed to be about trade deals specifically. "...seeks to celebrate and deepen the military, cultural and scientific ties between the two countries." Requested by Japan, apparently - but I daresay there will be something to be gained economically by it. Probably not a bad thing to maintain friendships in an ever-increasing dangerous world anyway. Never know when you might need them.
Gosh, how pathetic.
Waste of money,
British Tax Payers contribute approximately £86m pa to the Royal Family via the Soveriegn Grant - that is less that £2 each person per year, less than a cup of coffee. As a Brit, I'm happy to pay that.
King Charles III is the figurehead for our country and the Head of the Church of England. Someone has to do it.
@@softsophisticate Boot licker
Appreciate your culture and traditions and stop whining and moan about tax. Everyone pays tax what's your problem with tax
not if it progresses relations and keeps ties between each country it's money well spent.
@@softsophisticate not to the BRF does the grant go to but the crown property and state business it still has to go on whether a BRF or not, the fact is the BRF pay for themselves through their own private income through the Duchy of Lancaster and Cornwall their own private vast estates which revenue goes back into the crown purse to pay for the sovereign grant which only subsidises everything it would cost us twice more for presidencies you only need to look at France how much it costs them.
