One thing that I absolutely love with Jimmy's videos is the fact that he shows the whole thing, whenever possible. A lot of other RUclipsrs would milk this into two or even three parts.
I’m glad you have the courage to come forward with your Struggles. Everyone has them, and I mean, everyone. Just some are better at hiding it. Love your channel,.
Love love these doors. The steel frame is great. This solves the sagging issues, and would be curious several month, even years for you to give update video on how these hold up. Great as always Jimmy
Jimmy The amount of work you put into this is awesome. What a pleasure to watch. I really like the idea of one key/lock then open the rest of the doors that you need form inside. Outstanding job my friend!
Every video I watch for you every project you always doing the greatest person if you think you're having done it perfect you are wrong because you are doing the best work I've been watching you for a long time and always seem so much genius work God bless you Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy doing great job👍👍👍🙏
I had wondered if that was a planned “Dutch” door? Incredible insight, metal origami and craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing this sir. Wishing you and your family a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather. Peace
My wife and I had a commercial door and hardware distributorship in the Albany area. I ran the fabrication shop, (it was just me). We bought a lot of product from Albany Steel; good to see their truck!
Great video Jimmy! Good for you going to Better Help, they do help us folks man. Us old dogs can still learn something new about ourselves. As the saying goes ..." The unexamined life is not worth living"! :)
These are my favorite videos of yours. I gifted my Dad a welder a few years ago but he's not using it. Time to grab that and start making metal doors! I don't even have anywhere to put them. I can fix that problem though!
Hi Jimmy. The doors look great! I usually work by myself too and you have to come up with ways to handle large or heavy materials. Walking the frames up like you did is a good example of that. I'm also an old man but, we can still get stuff done!
Making All these doors reminds folks to be open to new possibilities and getting to a better place in your journey both in the world and in your mental health. Cheers!!
'I'm good at welding' ..... Yup. I love the flush aesthetic and down to the recessed mitre weld detail very nicely done. Can't wait to see them in black I think they will look killer. We have a region in the rast of England, suffolk, where the timber cladding is always coaed in black - i assume but don't know for sure this probably originated with something tar based as it's a ciastal region but the black isbstill done today as a doff of the cap tobtue past. Materials pallette alongsids is clay terracotta pan tiles in the roofs, terracotta brick weathered and lightemed over time on the walls. Boundaries are iften defined with woven fences - and i can never remember which way aroind it is - hazel in Suffolk and willow in Norfolk. Low building desnsity with lots of lush green everywhere. Really nice soft pallete of materials and probably my favourite regional style we have here. My point being that the way you are approaching the materials contextually is reminiscent of the same. Not to saybyou are using the same materials, justbtyebgentle combination sitting nicely in the contextual surroundings. I can assure you it makes semse to me anyway! Lovely work, bravo!
Those are some awesome heavy duty doors! They look great man! I love the idea of only having one entry door too. Because you've really gotta keep things secure these days.
Loved watching this develop on Patreon, amazing work. Always interesting to see the ingenuity you use to tackle tasks when operating solo. LOL at that turkey camera...
Your building, shop and barn projects are my favorites! Unless I win the lotto, it's unlikely I will build another shop, but if I do, you have given me a 100 ideas!
Take a lot of courage to speak about therapy etc. Most leople think people will judge them, and as someone who battles anger , bipolar and ptsd from my dad passing this helps to see that you started the vudeo opening speaking about it and it truly means a lot !
This will probably get buried, but for the top half of your dutch doors, you could put some magnets on the wall to hold your doors open where the steel meets the wall. They look awesome Jimmy! Every time I see you weld, it makes me want to learn so bad!!
Big fan but hey.................... diagonal bracing on the doors is an absolute must, and good luck with your horses teeth.................these animals always eat the stable door. Love as always.
Great job. One sujestion,we work allot with those type of hingesin Europe, specifically I am talking Serbia) and when the doors are big and heavy,we grease them like this- we make a hole on the top hinge( with like 2-3mm drill bit when they are as big as these yours)and with a grease gun and straw put grease or wd40 or any other lubricant lubricant and if they are outside just put a dab of some sort of sealent of bathroom water resistant heavy duty silicone.
Looks great. Any concerns that the big doors on front may sag just a bit over time? Perhaps the steel is plenty strong enough. Just curious. Well done.

The doors look great! And we haven't seen you this happy and excited in a while! Congrats on a super win, Jimmy,
I've seen a few bird farming videos, I still marvel at how friendly some domestic turkeys can be, they can actually be very loving and cuddly.
Your smile & excitement about the doors is contagious.😊
Looks great, love those vintage looking lamps

Looks great. Any concerns that the big doors on front may sag just a bit over time? Perhaps the steel is plenty strong enough. Just curious. Well done.
