    I love the entire crew! They may never find anything of significance, or the may? BUT they are rich in friends and family. I really appreciate the lack of needless scripted fighting/drama.

    I think about 75% of the series is just re-caps of prior episodes, 20% useless small talk and introductions, 4% reused animations, and 1% talking about anything slightly interesting.

    I'm always get excited everytime they find another evidence that exist before. This is so ambitious, high risk. Keep going guys I believe there is really gold under that land

    there was a tunnel was there the old miners found but they use dinomight it flooded the tonal after with water

    This show reminds me of those ghost hunting programs. No ghosts and no treasure. Just a lot of mucking around.

    after the water is stop, you can get to it in3 week with a back ho thingre enforce it with that tub thing after it open it might need to be pump out, how to the crain get that far down, unless you dig it low enuf so it can reach it

    Research is key to finding anything on Oak Island. Stop assumeing there is something there and start preassumeing that there is nothing there to prove a point that there is something there. Ask yourselves why haven't you found something more greater on Oak Island.

    I had read about a village somewhere in or a Norse Vikings village that by building chambers or underground tunnels they were able to connect buildings to thel tunnels So they never had to. Be above ground made self sustainable. Plus had the first working sewage system.maybe that what's happening with all the wood there finding possible series oof tunnels

    It was a fresh water well/filter, when people landed there, it was a way to desalinate salt water so they had something to drink, no treasure... these weren’t Disney pirates, they didn’t bury their treasure just off the beach... and go through that kind of effort to bury the treasure. About 35-50 meters off the beach is what you need to have water that is potable, the layers they discovered was a way to help facilitate removing the salt in the water, the lines going out from the dug structure was so that water still made its way to the well/filter

    In a previous episode I could have sworn they talked about a guy who took over in the 1960's and dug out a massive (essentially quarried) area to down 100 ft depth before he ran out of money. If they found some wood at 90 feet why would they be at all concerned about dating this material or analyzing it's meaning.

    Drilling holes that's one thing, but what if they find the treasure for real? Will the authorities give permission to placer mine the entire region to get down to pay dirt? That will most likely destroy this side of the island.

      I doubt it. Fred died a yr or two back, he was Dan's rival for many yrs, and the didn't think that then.

      Craig's son, who was in the show, died last year.
      They also lost Fred Nolen, a couple of years ago.
      So, I don't see it happening.
      Dan Blankenship, Dave & the Blankenship Family leave a wonderful legacy in history. RESPECT

    Once again they found nothing significant. No treasure has been found on or around oak island yet for 6 seasons this show has dragged out them digging holes and finding no proof of treasure lmao

    I believe there is gold at Seagrove beach and my brother and I are probably the only 2 people still alive that actually witnessed some of this story in progress 60 Years ago.

    Those guys will never find the jackpot wasting $ like that.. they are poking holes.. it's like searching for a needle in a hay field. They should of dug up that whole area down over 100 feet. Pumped out all the ground water. Much better odds and cheaper. But maybe the government won't let them dig up most of the island? I've seen the gold guys dig giant holes that deep. Idk

      MILEHIGH JAX has been done already in the 60s I can't remember the name of the guy that did it but he tore that whole place wide open and he lost a lot of key Clues and signs that were there for the treasure you can Google it and I'll show you pictures of what he done he tore that place apart and didn't find anything but what he did he messed up everything

      Ok I looked at Dunfields work, Unimpressed. The brothers needed the opening of the top of the pit to be like the size of a football stadium! Then build road beds to get equipment down deep should be able to get down 150+ feet down. If they could keep the water pumped out of course. And a second thought. Why do they only have one person metal detecting? Shouldn't they have like a dozen people out metal detecting? Bet they would find alot more artifacts. go big or go home right? Just saying.

      They haven't found anything to show of true value. I can dig around in my back yard and find loads of rusty nails and spikes. Nuts and bolts. Even wood.. And all kinds of junky, worthless stuff. If this same stuff was found on Oak Island it is considered priceless and a fantastic find! Why is that?

      @Jesus is Theonlyway From every indication, whatever is concealed beneath Oak Island was never meant to be recovered. I believe it is an ancient tomb, and the 90-foot stone, uncovered in 1803 with the strange symbols "face down" in the Money Pit, was most probably a capstone like one would see at ancient tombs in the Middle East.
