I went on it just like 5 days ago. I'm 11 now but my birthday was 4 days ago. so I went when I was 10 too. for the first time. and I asmit, I screamed the first time. but for like the first 4 second of the first drop. it wasn't that scary.
Goliath is not that bad. The first drop is terrifying and then after that it's all fun, barely any airtime which is what I like lol I cried riding tatsu, twisted colossus, and drop of doom. These rides are a little intense for my liking.
Rodrigo and me share the same feelings when it comes to Roller coasters. I cried out of fear over riding a much smaller wooden coaster when I was his age. These steel monsters still terrify me! and the one he rode was Goliath!!
You should try other rides before trying this one. After getting used to the drops, turns, forces, and speed, you kinda get desensitized of those feelings. That's what happened to my sister and me. lol. We rode 16 rides in one day at Magic Mountain. We went on this ride twice and felt nothing. We just enjoyed the whole thing, and it's now one of our favorite rides at SFMM. You should try that. 👍🏼
Now that poor kid will never ride another coaster. My daughter ride Goliath when she was 5, she was scared but she didn’t cry and then definitely didn’t force her to get on. She loves coasters now. I didn’t ride a coaster until I was 14 because I was afraid but luckily no one made me do it. But now I love coasters too it’s weird how our minds work..

Poor kid. He was scared from the beginning. He probably didn't want to go on this ride. I see a lot of kids that aren't afraid at first. But get scared once they feel that drop in their stomachs. I don't have any kids but if I did I wouldn't put them on a roller-coaster unless they are ready. I live in Texas and there is a ride called the Titan (Which is similar to this ride. Look at it on RUclips sometime.). I showed it to my 6-year-old niece and she said that she will probably ride it when she is eight. Each child is different but I don't think he was ready!

See here’s the thing, roller coasters are supposed to be fun. This was a kid who is clearly pushed beyond his comfort zone for the expense of a laugh. It wasn’t fun for him and probably ruined roller coasters for him :/ There was literally no point in doing this to him, it doesn’t teach him anything except for distrusting you guys and hating roller coasters.
