Who wants to shower in the kitchen outside? Not me!
I don't want to either but you can pull the shower wand around the side of the RV.
Thanks for watching and commenting!

The bathroom is why I have a camper. Otherwise, I would have a tent. Just me maybe.
We get it! I call small campers tents on wheels all the time but with the added benefit of a toilet. Makes life a little more convenient!
I need a sink in the bathroom no matter what. People brushing their teeth and spitting or washing their hands after using the commode is not for me. Otherwise for the money and depending on what you can pull, you gave options of what’s out there. Thanks for your honest efforts.
Yep these aren;'t for everyone but it's interesting to read how everyone feels about them. Thanks for chiming in!
Mike
I am with you 100%. I have commented before about that having worked food prep/ restaurants for years and being Serve-safe certified. I won't go into the amount of bacteria that you most certainly don't want in your food prep area that would occur with the only sink being in the kitchen. Hell I would have a sink JUST for handwashing in the kitchen if I could. I know WAY too much about cross contamination to ever have just one sink!
@@lynprincevalli5221 you aren't wrong. I've watched documentaries that would make you lose your lunch. Speaking of...don't watch one about fast food restaurants🤮.
@RVBlogger I'm sure and I actually think we have had this very conversation on another post of yours! Love your channel by the way! Always informative without the dumb gimmicks which aren't necessary! Your tips are great as well! Love those clear bins!
Tough call this week.... It would be #3 but the mid bath makes it too tight. Have to choose #2...I'd leave the bed set up and use the breakfast bar. ❤ Great video!
Thanks for voting and glad you liked the video!!!
I agree that the mid bath really makes the trailer feel too small.
Mike
Sink in the bathroom, absolutely!
If I had to pick one of these, it would be the second one. I would keep the bed made up and eat at the breakfast bar.
Seems to be the popular choice!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mike
I love that bar counter area in the forest river!
That seems to be a popular option that people really like!
Thanks for commenting!
Mike
I appreciate your review, especially as I keep thinking lighter and smaller is better. However… after watching this there’s such a thing as too 🤬 small 😊 Each of these are wonderful for weekends, but would be hell for a two week or longer traveling vacation. I liked the third until I saw the bathroom… the shower 🚿 looks so small it would be a lesson in frustration. 😊
Hi Erin, Thanks for sharing! These definitely aren't for everyone and I agree - there is such a thing as too small! lol!
As always - thanks for watching and commenting!
Mike
@@RVBlogger - Thanks! And… a friendly reminder IF you think of it shower sizes have to be more helpful to more people than just me. A simple “This is a radius shower at 34 inches” or “This showers base is a 24x30 inches” or whateverrrrrrr. 😊👍🏼😎
@@Erin-Thor We still have so much content from the last RV show but will try to incorporate that into future tours.
@@RVBlogger - No worries. Thanks and I will try to not remind/ask you again. 😊
@@Erin-Thor It's all good. We always appreciate good feedback because it makes us better. So thank you!
Hope you have a great week Erin!
I love the cassette toilet, I’m thinking of getting a very small camper, and that seems to be a great idea!!
Susan had one when she had her popup camper and she said it was great for when she had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Thanks for watching!
Mike
Good for weekend trip
Definitely
That little counter is a good place to use museum wax to hold containers with lids for storing items. The museum wax would be strong so you could leave things on the counter while towing.
You know we have never tried museum wax before. Maybe we will sometime. Thanks for the idea!
Mike
@@RVBlogger you are very welcome. It really works well. And, it doesn’t do damage when you want to move the item. Just give the item a good twist and it will come loose then run some dental floss under the wax. Plus it’s reusable.
My biggest takeaway is the Coachman Remote bathroom was a head scratcher. If the shower is so small to be almost non-functional why not shrink the bathroom box a bit, put in a sink and storage. Forget the shower.
Hi Amy,
It is tough to squeeze a bathroom into these small campers but at some point I agree. If the space is too small repurpose it.
Thanks for always watching and commenting!
Mike
I tent camp and bring a porta potti because I always have to go during the middle of the night and hate hoofing it to the bath house :)
Most people hate going to the bathrooms in the middle of the night. Try that in the Everglades and you may get bitten by a snake in the middle of the night. So a porta potti is a great way to have a convenient camping trip!
Thanks for sharing!
Mike
The 14sr should have a permanent bed with that breakfast nook in it and a bigger fridge but other wise quite nice
Good observations! Thanks!

Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated!

Hi Mike and Susan! I like the Forest River Viking Saga. It seemed spacious. Liked the bar stool so you can look out the window as your eating or working on your computer.I would fold the dinette down to a bed and keep it like that because it would be too hard to keep folding g it down into a bed and the up for a dinette a lot. The last one the Coachmen was too narrow. Shower too small. And water would be all over the floor with that curtain. Thank you Mike and Susan. Hope you have a great week.
Hi Sherri! Great observations as always! Hope you have a great week too! We're enjoying the Keys for a few weeks! Very nice!
@@RVBlogger
Ya I heard the keys were nice. My sisters boy friend lived there for a while and so did a friend of mine whiz from there. Have fun enjoy the keys.
I prefer a vanity in the bathroom. All three of these campers are so small and the layouts are pretty tight
Hi Kim,
Seems like a 50/50 mix of opinions on the bathroom vanity. And these are all pretty tight. But when you can only tow 4,000 including all of you gear and supplies these are what you get. But they can be great weekend adventure campers. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
Mike
I love ❤️ your reviews. I’m nun the market for a small less than 4K GVW. These 3 miss the mark completely
Yeah...It is really tough to find small campers that are under 4,000 lbs GVWR. But these were available so we shot them.
Thanks for loving our reviews!!!!!
Mike and Susan
I would definitely leave the dinette down in bedmode as well. Also, I do not need a sink in the bathroom. 👍
Thanks for sharing!
Mike
Either of the last two wd be okay but not the first - I don't want the kitchen outside. And I don't care if there's a sink in the bathroom or not but there had better be a toilet bc yes, I DO use it! Love the cassette, too, very easy to maintain.
Glad you liked them! The sink in the bathroom seems to be 50/50 in the comments so far. Thanks for watching!
Mike
Thanks Susan and Mike, good reviews. All three looked cramped (for me), too tall. The toilet issue; when you gotta go, you gotta go. The WC vanity issue; there's usually a shower right there, use it. How dirty do people get using the toilet? The third one; that's a 9k jump in price without justification, silly WC but oh, a hot plate outside? I suppose there's a market for these in a small segment. I'll catch up soon I hope on your recent past videos. Have been traveling recently to different countries. Thanks and stay safe.
Thanks for sayin hi and for your comments about these trailers. Where have you been traveling? Safe travels to you too!
Mike and Susan
I would prefer a sink in the restroom.. Of the three options presented the Forest River Viking Saga had a decent floor plan and gentle colors. I like the built in bar overlooking the view. I don’t know that I am for the bed being so close to the kitchen area. The bathroom space was relatively roomy for the size of the camper.
Thanks for sharing! You gonna take mu job one of these days! lol!
Hope you have a great day!
Mike
@@RVBloggerOh No! You and Susan have this down to a science. 🎉
@@MadeUpLikeADoll 🤣Thank you! 🤗
I'm sorry, I would need a sink in the bathroom. The thought of those germs being transported to my kitchen area.
Thanks for letting us know your opinion. The debate rages on! What if you had hand sanitizer in your bathroom? Would that work for you?
I wouldn't want to change a bed /table every day.
Same here - way to inconvenient every day. Maybe if the grandkids visit for a weekend. Thanks for watching!
Mike
Mike, The cabinet doors in the Forest River are auto-close.
The things I say ( or don't say!) LOL
Thanks!
Mike
What I have noticed looking at these small camper's compared to back in 2006 when I was looking at a ton of small campers is that today they are built minimal n cheap looking. Like you're lucky if u get cabinet doors (a cheap shot by these manufacturers with these stupid net cubby holes 🙄, super cheesy cheap!), n minimal storage! and limited windows. (Except last one had good windows). One camper with a non-fixed table that's to dam low that u do have to anchor in travel somehow! Like no consideration 🙄. And Bathrooms with zero proper storage or medicine cabinets. Cheap cheap cheap! One without proper shower wall liner, cheap! And if anyone saw any class B camper vans made overseas in Germany and area they have nice compact functional shower bathrooms with storage! These small campers here remind me of the first popup tent campers with super minimal anything except beds. If anyone saw small travel trailers in early yr 2000's, u can see the price has gone up substantially and what u get is minimal cheap now. Very sad, rv manufacturers are going backwards to the basics n minimal design as if these were caveman's first rv. Zero innovation. Very disappointing all of em.
(But this is not a reflection on u guys, you're a lovely couple! 🤗) 🍻
LOL! Tell us how you really feel!
Honestly though - you aren't wrong. The two biggest RV manufacturers are traded on the stock exchange so what does that mean? It means they have to find ways to improve profits quarter over quarter and year over year. This results in what is called Value Engineering which is a fancy tern for lower the build cost to improve profits. This isn't just for RVs either - value engineering is used in every industry to give the consumer less while charging more.
But all that being said, prices are coming down and there are some good RVs still out there.
Thanks for watching and for your honest opinion!
Mike
@@RVBlogger lol. Can't hold it back lol.
I have stocks, but no way would I ever consider buying into the rv industry. It's such a shame- yeah I know what they're doing. Only wish European would invade NA industry, then watch the NA industry sink. But not realistic unfortunately. So on a happy note enjoy life the best way ya can, buy a tent folks! (Kidding, i have a truck camper now, Northern lite, perfect for me, n well made at least, and oh, it looks like the one u were in awhile ago Mike, u liked, they r a camper u have to see in person, web pics don't show the love lol) 🍻
@@SpykersB We love truck campers and esp Northern Lite. Tried to talking them into letting us "borrow" one for Alaska 🤣! We always encourage buying used (get inspected) and never vacation (or live) above your means.
Not to steal the thunder from the lightweight trailer presentation but did you shed some pounds?
YES! I lost some weight and got back to the gym! My knee is playing nice right now and it feels good to be working out again. Thanks for noticing!
Sorry y'all, those are just too small for me. Thanks & safe travels !!
Yeah - these are the little guys that foils with smaller pickup trucks or mid size SUVs can haul. Not for everyone for sure.
I noticed the sink drain on the 3rd trailer is vented inside of the trailer; is that common on trailers now?
It isn't common but sometimes the do vent inside the trailer. The inside vents only suck air in - they don't let fowl air into the RV. So they work fine and get the job done. Great observation!
@@RVBlogger thank you and thank you for clarifying about how they work too.
I like the bath house. When it's a well maintained camp ground. I do not do theoff the😂grid thing. I like to visit with the other campers. The out door kitchen is the bees knees
Outdoor kitchens can be really cool. Thanks for watching!
Mike
II don't like having a vanity or sink in a bathroom, especially in small trailers, but really not in any of them.
It all depends I guess. We have vanitiy cabinets and sinks in both of our RVs. We love them in our Class A because we have lots of room. We don't like the vanity cabinet and sink in our Class C because the bathroom is too small.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mike
@@RVBlogger You are welcome. Yes, in my class C it is too small for a vanity. I am thinking of removing it.
Can't pick any of them today.
That's ok. These trailers are on the small side for sure!
Thanks for watching again this week!
Mike
Need a hand washing sink for the bathroom. It's possible to have one in a small wet bath; there is plenty of room in a dry bath. Prefer smaller trailers, but... Didn't like any of these trailers.
Hi NanaGram, we certainly understand the importance of good hand washing! These were some really small trailers but we chose to show the GVWR which includes all of your cargo - which we think is more realistic.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mike
I'm with you they need a sink. I've even seen pull down sinks in the showers. I didn't care for any of them either :(
I don't think we would ever want a cassette toilet or composting toilet. We have a regular RV toilet and use it. If we don't have full sewer hook-ups may use campground bath house or just pee outside in the woods.
Haha - We aren't big fans of cassette or composting toilets either. But some folks think they are great! Thanks for watching and for your commment!
Mike
I don’t like that there’s just a toilet in the first camper. We use our bathroom.
We use both bathrooms in our motorhome! Bathrooms are a must on our opinion but everyone camps differently.
Hope you have a great week Kim!
Camper 2 would be too crappy for us.
LOL! Tell us how you really feel!
All way over priced for what they offer! Wouldn’t entertain any of them.
Prices are coming down and we only show the MSRP, which you should never pay. There are some good deals out there or you can always buy used too.
Thanks for watching!
Mike
What a tool for the RV industry.
What do you mean by that?
