Fingolfin is a true King and a hero me personally I like his design the blue and silver armor/ robes is epic including his horse he was like a shining star facing the darkness while riding his horse. Also I couldn’t notice Fingolfin and Feanor rivalry is similar to old rivalry between Blue and Red, Blue is calm and collective that is Fingolfin and Red is fiery passion which Feanor.
I totally agree! Fingolfin is one of my favorites. That's exactly what I thought too while making the video! The red and blue dynamic felt perfect for capturing the essence of Fingolfin's calm strength and Fëanor's fiery passion
Absolutely, Fingolfin is 100% one of my favorites! His story is just so compelling. Which story do you think I should cover next? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 😁
@@FellowshipoftheLore Personally I would like the story of Finarfin, including he and the Noldor remnant's part in the march of the host of the Valar. I always think he is the wisest of the three sons of Finwe. He is actually part of the war that brings Morgoth down. Also, I have often wondered at the reuniting of some of the Noldor who accompany the Valar with relatives still alive but part of the exiles. I like the way the Valar handle matters at the end.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I completely agree that Finarfin’s story and his role in the war against Morgoth deserve more attention. He truly stands out as the wisest of Finwë’s sons. I’ll be sure to explore his story and the themes you’ve mentioned in one of my upcoming videos. Stay tuned! 🤝
Thumbnail is a nice picture but wrong hair color for Fingolfin. He was A son of Indis and golden haired like his mother a Vanyar elf as said in the Silmarillon.
@FellowshipoftheLore He and Finarfin are brothers, Fingolfin is the elder brother. Both are sons of Indis, half noldor and half Vanyar both had blonde hair. Feanor had black hair like his mother a noldor.
Thanks for pointing that out! I mentioned "mortal" in the context of the duel, but as the story clearly shows, Fingolfin was not mortal-he was one of the Eldar, immortal by nature. The phrasing was more about emphasizing his vulnerability in the face of Morgoth’s immense power, but I see how it could be confusing. I appreciate your attention to detail and for keeping the lore accurate!
There is never been a more heroic exit in Fantasy than Fingolfin’s sacrifice. All men have a fantasy about going out like that.
Absolutely agree! Fingolfin’s sacrifice is one of the most iconic and heroic moments in fantasy history. 🙏
That’s exactly how I wish to go out. Fighting the impossible adversary and showing everyone it’s ordinary.
So that his eyes shone like the eyes of Valar, and all that saw his onset fled in amaze thinking that Orome himself was come.
excellent
Thanks alot!🙏
Greatest fight in all fantasy literature.
I totally agree with you!

You know what I am going to say about this. :) But I understand he is one of your favourites.

Interesting! Based on my searches through the internet he is explained to have dark hair.
You are not mixing him up with Finarfin?😅

Did you say Fingolfin was mortal. I think you need to go back to reading the lore.
