The nine people who downvoted this can tell that the song is a remastered version that isn't the original recording from the episode. The scene around it is real but in the episode recording James's voice was a bit heavier, more raw, with feeling (Hah). Yeah I'm a huge nerd I'll see myself out now
I liked his little impromptu rock concert; that was sheer brilliance. And you know, based on his favorite television series, he'd probably appreciate at least a bit of domestic town drama... he does like soap operas at times.
@@thecaptain6184 I too liked his rock concert; that was due to James Marsters bringing in a guitar and performing and it kind of grew out of there, at least according to the interviews with the show's staff.
I rather to be with spike than Angel can t help himself without turning Angelus spike love her with or without a soul but Angel can t without being evil
@@chissstardestroyer yeah I got it now and was kinda understanding... when she was alive she was disgusted what he did to a robot that looked like her.... now she only uses him for information and convenience and it hurts him
@@shiestyrecords3225 And *with* a robot that could be her double, but she herself acts in *exactly* the same way, only worse in some ways- they were in about the most dysfunctional relationship imaginable at this time in their lives- to the point of mutual rape at that!
She *is* playing with fire in regards to that relationship, maybe she elected to engage in it to see if she was able to tame him and get him to amend his ways- that may well be her motive in regards to this, but if so, it's still risky to engage in.
I really feel like James kept his voice way too contained and clean for this song, kept it way too even. He really could of conveyed a lot more emotion from flexing his vocal range even having some vocal breaks could of added a fragility to the song.
Buffy and Spike had a more complex and mature connection. He really proved himself as a good man by the end of the show, out of love for her. He also cared for Dawn and Joyce. Angel was better on his own show, with Cordelia.
iluvlafferty I agree about Spuffy their relationship grew in ways the other relationships in the show didnt. But i dont like Angel and Cordy together in the slightest lol.
He's not a good boyfriend to her, considering as he's involved in seducing her into weird and unnatural antics "in bed" as it were; good call on her part to avoid the drinking: next thing that's likely to happen is they're likely to get into weird antics in his bed, with weird "toys", if you know what I mean.
He is a much better Boyfriend than Angel ever was. He fight for his soul for her to be the man that she deserves and he is always there for her with and without a soul.
I love Spike's eye-roll at himself when he starts to sing!
yeeeeessss same lol
I'm sorry but when he drops to his knees and sings "you know, you've got a willing slave" I just die a little 😍
I thought he said “Will enslaved” because he's “Will(iam)”
I think spike was feeling like he was going to sing at any moment so that’s why he wanted Buffy out.
I love that idea!
I agree, when he finished the song and she left he was upset and called out to her
"Whisper in a dead mans ear doesn't make it real" is hands down the best line here. Dead mean don't talk, remember?
Spike does alot of talking for a Dead man.. :)
Well, considering Buffy....theres loads of dead men talking and talking and talking, Spike not the last of them.
I love how pissed of he looks when he starts singing... :D
This voice and these emotions... 😍
beautiful voice James Marsters 😍😍😍 i love spike
spuffy forever Marsters 1/3 dislike to like ratio buddy
I love Spike ❤️
Way more than Angel!
Bekomme immer wieder Gänsehaut bei dem Lied. Wirklich eine tolle Stimme 🤩
Buffy was awesome and Spike was one of my favorite characters ever. I cannot wait to see the reboot

I dressed up like Spike in College. Don't tell anybody.
So did Billy Idol. Shhhh 🤫
I love spike he so handsome ❤❤
I love this scene 😍❤
Moral of the story Buffy ! " Let Him Rest In. Peace " !
Her face was like "I don't mean to
“But like…stay here.”
Buffy and Spike =❤️
And, as the end of the scene so clearly shows: he doesn't know what he wants!
He wants her to leave him alone but still loves her

Love this so much...
In this episode only Spike, Tara and Giles had a great voice
jocey grijalva i dont know if sarah did her own singing but she was good as well as the demon
jocey grijalva rip
She did
Don't forget the demon and Anya's and Dawn's voices were okay
Well both James and Anthony ( Spike and Giles) actually sing in real life too.. So they kinda had an Avantage.. ;)
C'mon guys we all got a guilty pleasure.

Why doesn’t Buffy relise that she loves spike and get him instead of having him sacrifice himself in the last season.
If he didn't sacrifice himself everyone would have died.
Because she's the Slayer and the mission always comes first.
he comes back in Angel
@@butterflymcqueen5721 no he doesn't angel ran alongside Buffy that's why some of the episodes say previously on buffy and angel and do a crossover
