I just know with all the country/rock blues we got going on in this channel you would LOVE Hannah Williams and her collab album with the Affirmations. Late nights and Heartbreak. The whole album is stellar, but Your Luck Can Change and the title track are very special. So so impressive, she deserves her flowers.
I haven't dug too deep into Kasey's music but she wrote "Burn One With John Prine" and damn it that's good enough for me. Zach's self-titled was easily my album of the year and this song is spectacular!
This is just genuine, raw and it doesn't need a single other instrument. Take one of these ingredients out and this song goes from great to good. SIDE NOTE: Mike....check your inbox....it's been a minute going on half a year. 😜
Hey Michael, great channel, love your approach to guitar and music. I discovered Kacey recently by accident. Deeper Well is a breath of fresh air, great songs and the recording quality is incredible.
"So we start it off, rock gut whiskey gonna ease my mind. Gettin hammered" that is fucking pure comedy right there. Thank you for making an already great friday just a bit better and giving me a bunch of things to think about and mess around with when I get home from work today. You are the man Michael.
Dude I need to see your reaction to Spiritbox's Mara Effect Live. I need someone who knows what theyre are talking about to dissect that piece of history.
Sounds a lot like Mumford & Sons. I’ll have to check out these two people. I haven’t heard real country music since about 2010. I guess I’ll take a look see
They have nothing to do with country music. Powers in country hanging onto them as saviours. Yes, Tyler Childers as well- saw him couple of weeks ago - amazing. All are singer songwriters
@@derekhoover5304 is he played on rotation on country radio . Does he play CMA fest. No, of course not . That is why they had to invent the Americana classification
Man, my perspective on the lyrics couldn’t be any more different. Music is fun that way
Zach Bryan is making Country Great Again!!

Golden Hour is a great Kacey album to start digging
Golden hour has to be one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. It’s so complete in every way; one of those you have to hear from end to end
I don’t know why but this song really hit me. I felt it down in my bones like it was my own memories.
Thanks mate for showing us this amazing "powerhouse duo". Keep doing your amazing journey!
Zach Bryans “DeAnn” album is a masterpiece. There, I said it.
Great song, great video from you as well and awesome to see that he’s as nice of a guy as he seems! Cheers brother!
Love your interpretation of lyrics. Would be great to hear more of these on some of the big new country/singer songwriter tracks.
Great breakdown of the lyrics and music!

I saw Kacey with Prine back in 2017. Seeing Zach Bryan for the first time in May. This is the content I'm here for!
i remember kacey from the willie nelson collab. what a character.
Great job Mike, excellent teacher

AMAZING Duo.. 10/10 song!
Reading articles that say Musgraves had strep throat while they were recording this song blows me away. Absolute talent, and trooper.
her performance on SNL was so great - a classic sound. Real deal!
Love Kasey, Love Zach, love guitargate!
You need to review Toshiki Soejima. He’s a phenomenal neo soul, blues/light jazz guitarist who is always accompanied by stellar musicians.
Speaking of those types of relationships, check out the song “In My Arms Instead” by Randy Rogers Band.
2nd this, Randy is slept on and has been making fabulous music for over a decade.
just checked it out, thank you for the amazing recommendation my friend 👍
@@jackfox9101 glad you liked it!

Lol me being the only person here that has can’t relate because I’ve never been broken up with lol 😂🤪💪🏼🔥
The Zach Bryan song is quite good, but it is oddly reminiscent of The Stable Song by Gregory Alan Isakov
I thought he was covering that for a minute. Thought I was going crazy
Thank you! I knew I had a song in one of my playlists that sounded really really similar bit couldn't remember what or who!
C G Am - puhleeze sofa king tired 😫
Write your own song joker.
Whoa! I feel like I went to church today. Great breakdown Michael

Check out Tyler Childers. Whitehouse road, nose on the grindstone, and charleston girl. Those 3 will get you started.

Beautiful song. That’s good country , lot of garbage now.
