Thanks for the video! Really helps :) It's amazing that the JIRA UI is so extremely not intuitive and that their website really is just selling and not thoroughly explaining anything.

Hi! How do I add projects to the board after the initial creation? I got as far as editing the boards filter query and adding the new projects, but the issues don't show up in the backlog. Thoughts?
Thank you Andrii! Yes, it needs to be a company-managed project. If you would like to create different boards for team-managed projects you can still do it within other company managed project.
Hi - thanks a lot! I still have two questions: 1.) will the board always stay within that single first selected project - or could it be "standalone". Not connected to any project? 2.) can I - instead of filtering projects - also select a project category for instance?
I created a new scrum board. Location now has two boards under it. New board is seeing all tickets from original board. How do I fix this to start with a fresh set of tickets.
This is great, I was looking for this. But why that dropdown button of the board does not appear for me ? :) Do I need to be a jira Admin, or is it only available for pro version ? I need to see different team boards from the same projects
Great video, thanks for sharing! I do have a question, I created a new project so I could add projects to the board, but don't see the down arrow to create a board. Any idea why it's not showing up?
Hi Raymahl! Glad you found the video useful. Regarding the arrow - is it possible that you're in the team-managed project (you can see it on the bottom left of your project navigation menu)? Team-managed projects don't have the option to create boards available yet.
I have made numerous attempts and managed to create a Kanban board with all the projects that allows me to filter as I wanted. However, it doesn’t work. When I move a ticket from one column to another within a single project, the cumulative board is not updated and vice versa. I need to manage multiple projects and use a single board that allows me to filter by developer, epic, and projects during the morning stand-up meetings. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
I was looking for how to create a blank board, not one based on a previous project. This video is like starting a board in the middle of something, not the start
Hi Kimina. Yes, you can! Go to your board settings (clicking on ... on the top right corner of your board and then General. There you can edit filter query for the board and include other projects.
Honestly this is the best JIRA tutorial I've seen so far. So clear and straight to the job. Thanks so much for this.
Thank you. But I don't even see the arrow, I don't see a backlog, I see nothing of the mentioned features. Weird.
I was facing the same problem so I created a company managed project instead of a team managed project

Very clear video! thanks a lot!

Thank you so much for this video.. I have a question.. may be I am sounding silly, but can we have multiple scrum & kanban projects under Scrum board?
Wish I could hug you right now!!!!
In my projects does not have that arrow 😞 [0:25] How enable this??
Your Jira Admin probably needs to give you access
@@jessk129 Same issue but I am the admin :(
My project does not have that arrow...:(
then you most probably created a team-managed project, not a company managed one
Thank you so much 👍😊
thank you so much. Love you
Thanks you!

Perhaps you are in a team-managed project. It only works in Company-managed software projects it seems.

Good demo. I like n subscribed. Can you teach us how to show tester productivity ini all projects in one dashboard?
Hi Mohamad, thank you for your feedback and for the great idea!
We'll pick up in the next series 🙌
Please, is it possible to include new projects on the same board or do I need to create a new one?
i need that info too

I can't see the team-managed projects so I can't add them to the portfolio board :(

Can you add more projects to an existing unified board?
Hi Kimina. Yes, you can! Go to your board settings (clicking on ... on the top right corner of your board and then General. There you can edit filter query for the board and include other projects.
@@MondayCoffeexAppfire I tried doing it already, but it does not reflect on the board?
For some reason my scrum projects do not appear in "board from an existing project", can you say why?
It's because I was using the Team-managed option, with company-managed it worked :)
Jira doesnt look like this anymore? I do not have a dropdown arrow where I can create a board. This must be out of date now
