What really pissed me off about this show is that no one ever put Hope first despite the fact that they called themselves her friends and she was constantly saving their asses, there was a dynamic of just casual school friends that really distinguished itself from tvd where everyone was ride or die for Elena, something that didn’t exist in Legacies and which Hope really needed more than anything with her being unique in the world, her parents being dead and her family all abandoning her and their vows for the sake of the plot of the show. That’s why her ship with Landon is my favorite despite it being an unpopular opinion, he was literally the only one who could and would prioritize her above all others, shame the writers didn’t know what to do with him
I think they made it that way for her character development. Her dad wasn’t liked by many and neither was she so in that way she was a lot like her dad.
@@bakalaza528yeah probably the problem is nobody really knew her they immediately judged her because of her father thinking just because she was his daughter she was like him and in some ways she was without her humanity but she got good things from him like painting she got his talents but nobody ever knew that side of klaus the only people who knew that side of him was Caroline, hope and his family that’s it. So yea I get what the top comment was saying she didn’t have a ride or die relationship except for Landon.
I think Josie put her first. But held back to not allow her self to be in an unrequited relationship with hope. She just didn’t realize hope reciprocated her feelings
Same hahaha but I'm known to have very unpopular opinions about Alaric hahaha I hated when he mentioned Klaus to Hope and pointed out her "flaws" as something she inherited from her dad.
I feel for Hope. I feel like in a way, she's been wronged since the day they found out Hayley's pregnant. Everyone feared her because of her 'Deadly' powers, not only that but because of how she'd use it. They judged her because of Klaus, but have they not forgotten how he finally found love and peace through her?! Like it gets me so mad that they still judge Klaus and Hope! And she's grieving over her parent's death, grieving lasts for a VERY long time, it's a long process! And Alaric is being a little a** every time he talks bad about Klaus especially in front of her! The fact that Hope has hold on to her sanity is very inspiring. She's out there saving the world but no one is really there to save her, but Landon, her family basically went M.I.A., I mean Freya visited once in a while but that was kinda it, the family showed up when Hope shut her humanity off. And I loved it when she did bc it gave me a whole new perspective of how she rlly felt, she went completly cray cray, but she was very smart abt it, and she knew what she was doing. I also liked the idea of the two humanity and non humanity Hope battling with each other, bc it rlly shows what's going in her head and what she's going through, like she's fighting herself, fighting for her sanity Most of all I loved how she embraced who she is.
This is honestly THE BEST video of Hope I've EVER seen. I mean you even added parts of the shows that most people forget about!! And I love you for it!!

This video reminds me why I could never get behind Hope/Lizzie ship. Lizzie constantly gave up on Hope and assumed the worst in her without giving her the benefit of the doubt
They had so much potential with ‘Legacies’, but they ruined it by trying to make it into a Disney Junior show. Hope had so many enemies before she was even born, & they could’ve done so much with it. however, they ruined her character by making her boy obsessed with Landon. Plus the whole Malivore crap. Idk, they failed the show BIG TIME.
