You're seriously underrated when it comes to these videos dude. I’m a sophomore in high school, and your videos are always informative. They also will help me become a better person as I grow up because of your lessons you talk about. You matter so much to me! 🐐

I was recommended your channel this morning, and I've spent the day pouring tears over your words and introspective recollections. Thank you for putting so much of yourself into these videos! I felt so moved and heard by your story in "How can I mourn mario when he's still alive," and by your time spent tutoring and feeling like an imposter. I'll be checking out your recommendations. You two are aspirational! ❤

i watched the wild robot on acid haha. so watching it, I felt a strong sorrow stemmed from empathy from my mother, especially because she lost her mom really early in life, so she always apologizes to me, telling me she doesn't know how to be a mom because she never had one growing up. watching this in retrospect though, i totally see where you are going about the surprisingly shallow reaction the characters had to the elderly bird dying, but when I watched it, I honestly thought it was because in their world, they seem to see death as kind of some natural process in life. Like the possum mom in the beginning of the movie when she thought one of her kids died. She was just like "oh! well thats one less mouth to feed.." It really made me think that in their world, the wilderness, where survival is the priority, they can't really mourn loss because death is just so natural and to dwell on it just takes their minds off of survival. It made me think about humanity and the difference agriculture and sedentary life had on humans and emotions. we started settling in groups and tribes and the gravity of death and grief became so much more deeper and ingrained in our cultures. It's so interesting that as the movie progresses, the animals of the island slowly let go of their survival instincts and started to really pick up on more "human" intuitive emotions. Anyways that was my take im sooo sorry for the rant!!! ur so right though and the movie was honestly so beautiful watching it on acid was chefs kiss

I loved the wild robot. I went into it, thinking it was gonna be a generic kids movie. I watched it w my younger sister and my younger brother, and I was originally planning to sit on my phone and msg friends on snap or smth. But I needed up watching it, all the way through, it was a good ass movie. Since I was on my phone for a bit of the start I did it know Roz killed her parents. I had absolutely no clue, and in the end it was shocking for me. I do understand what you mean by the pacing being fast, and the motions were tamed down. But comparing it to other kids movies realised this year (despicable me 4 😭😭) it’s amazing, 8.5/10

Absolutely! As a kids movie, it was one, if not the best of the year! In my opinion they need to start making kids movies more meaningful and have their messages stay with you rather than just being for entertainment

@ My little sister loved it so ig it does well as a kids movie. I think it having more interesting topics over 1.5 hours of brain melting minion compilations makes it a great movie,
