Basically the backstory is that Tigerstar and Nightclaw are siblings and Tigerstar left Windclan to fulfill a prophecy, which upset Nightclaw and lead him down a terrible road (he helped Mudclaw rebel against Onestar and was struck by lightning which is how he gained his scar. He was then exiled from Windclan for trying to kill Onestar) and they eventually reunite in the clan that Tigerstar helped rebuild.
