I've been using a local food pantry recently, and also started an indoor vegetable garden. I have started making my own bread too, whenever i have time.
Fabulous haul!! Especially all those Publix items. The food bank here delivers to the apartment building I live in (for disabled folks) and I love it when we get foods from Publix.
We hadn't been to the food bank for two months we thought with our dehydrated we're ok. But now we needed to go I was completely in shocked we tossed 80% went to the mulch and garbage. We were left with two pks gravy , stuffing box, bread, onion. We were given rotten food . People that are helping are homeless people and don't care so we see what's going on. If I wasn't wheelchair bound and going in for another surgery I'd be helping give a hour help sort food. No one should be given nasty in Oregon.
I wish we had a bigger freezer and storage space. It would be nice to visit your pantry place twice a year. That would fix our household for most of the year. We do not get bread, sweets, or fresh veggies. It would be nice to get those things. I am not complaining at what we recieve - would be nice to have your kind of foods to round out what we do get. After watching a video you did not long ago. A video called a life update. Where you had mention no spent for the whole year. Well I'm going to do the month of January and go from there. A month to month base. And to see how I do. My husband and I are trying to pay off credit card debt. Thank you for help from watching your videos. Happy new year's to you and your family.❤❤
Girl... You hit the jackpot this week. What a great haul. Josh got his cookies and the girls got a cake and that coobler?? Lots of good stuff that can't afford from the store. You did well this time. Lol
The type of bread we like has gone up to 4.89 a loaf. We got the bread that was on special buy one get one for free. Using one and froze one. Came out to about 2. a loaf.

Add cheese and you can make homemade hot pockets with the pizza crust and honey ham.
Hot pockets are a great idea, I wonder if I made them up and froze them would they be good to reheat in the air fryer or microwave. Thank you.
