Thanks for the tips! I play left wing and I am right footed so sometimes I like to cut in and curl it in to the far post or sometimes I might do what salah did by chopping the defenders and do a short low cross in to my teammates with my left foot

I am a defender. I was a "natural" back at age 6. I was a defensive central midfielder in the lower grade school years and full back in the higher grade school years. It's said that defenders has a different mind set from attackers. Attackers are more like what's possible? Defenders are like what could possibly go wrong?

Well, try playing in an attacking midfield position. All you need in this position is quality passing, vision and reading of the game. You can then improve your shooting abilities. Try playing in different midfield positions until you're sure of the position that fits you the most.

hey thnaks bro, i had to move up from left back to winger in the middle of game because our winger got injured i looked at the video while being a sub on the sideline and now im no longer a defender but an attacker because of this video. even got a hat trick in the match. thanks again.

How often do you think wingers defend? I think Salah, Mane etc don’t have to do that much as they’re very good in attack. That’s different from weekend football. Do you have any tips for average amateur players playing as wingers?

Hello nice video man it was really helpful but i am not sure which side i should play i am leftfooted and i play at left wing because i can control better the ball and do really nice crosses but it is hard for me to cut inside cause my right foot is only for walking 😂😂 what should i do????
Well, you really have to decide which thing you do the best, either crossing or cutting inside and shooting with your left. You can try playing in both positions to decide.

From my footballing experience here are the best tips I can give you
1. Pick your head up when you get the ball (preferably before) and asses your options quickly and release the ball quickly.
2. This could also be a problem with your teammates that you should discuss with them. Tell your midfielders to check into the ball for an option inside, tell your winger to give you an option down the line, and tell your CB to give you an option behind you.

In modern football, you have to train and try many styles. If you stay on wider areas all the time, you won't allow the fullback to perform any overlaps. Also when you play inside, you get more scoring and link up chances. Anyway, if you think that you are better in staying wide and crossing the ball inside then that would be your signature style.

Your coach Will have a better opinion than me here because he is the one who watches your play style. But keep in mind that sometimes coaches won't choose the perfect position for you. For example, sometimes a coach may have 2 RWs and you are the third, but he doesn't have a RB. So he will put you in that RB position and your abilities will be limited. Overall, you need to follow what your coach says then try and display your full abilities in that position, if you can't, you should have a talk with the coach.
