DEW DROP INN (1919) - Larry Semon

So, I thought it was about time we had some more Larry Semon. If you enjoyed the reconstruction of DULL CARE we posted, this is the next film he made. Here's all the footage I could find for the rather rare DEW DROP INN - a typical 90mph vehicle for Larry, who's playing.... wait for it...... a detective! - on the trail of Moonshine Mooney (Frank Alexander) and his gang (Bill Hauber & Co). Apart from Lucille Carlisle again, watch out for Frank Hayes as the directeress (!) of the Female Follies Film Company. Beautiful.
