I just know their lore is connected somewhere prepare for my theories (ALSO TALES SPOILERS FROM THE MASQUERADE A WHILE AGO I THINK SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THAT ONE YET) Karl's skin went black, white and grey and he began having memory problems after his trips to the in-between and ranboo is known for his terrible memory and the fact that we don't know what his white half is. possibly something from the in-between? (he certainly doesn't have any ghast characteristics). also after Karl's masquerade tales stream an unknown force from the in-between told him he needed to move his library and to protect it. what is one of the strongest blocks in Minecraft? obsidian. what are ranboo's panic rooms made of? obsidian. also ranboo's enderwalk could be his white half taking over his body? because again Karl struggles to remember things after he comes back from the in-between and ranboo struggles to remember things after he comes out of his enderwalk state we can't forget ranboo's memory books. he has so many he could probably make a library of his own with them *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* if anyone has anything they'd like to add to this or you can debunk something I said I'd love to hear it!
y u p personally i find it a bit frustrating bc it’s over done at this point. i think both karl and ranboo’s memory loss is done well but everyone else’s?? nah but that’s just my opinion lol
