Just over halfway through this really fascinating drama, there is the most horrible, inappropriate music! 😢
Now lots of people know ~WHY~ that music is there: for copyright reasons, etc. but what I question is the ~ CHOICE ~ of music.
The music here is suitable for people under 30, maybe teenagers? But does that age group listen to these kind of dramas? Probably not. It’s mostly us ‘oldies’ who like to listen to dramas and stories.
So, please whoever makes these wonderful dramas available to us all, we thank you so much for your time, but please would you put some classical music into the middle of the story. We would then not get jerked out of a peaceful story!

There is a short section missing when Farrant and Mrs Ormond declare their feelings for each other but it does resume after the music as the same drama...

Great drama, interrupted however by far too many adverts
After 54 minutes, music from another period of time begins to play and then stops 28 seconds later, we are left to guess what could have been said. Quite odd, was it deliberate? An enjoyable play none the less.
What was the point of that daft music?😂 I fast forwarded it and the play continues.

Stupid intrusive unnecessary music at 54 minutes
The most awful channel. Priestly’s sublime play interrupted continuously by junky ads and unbearable music. Why did the channel founder bother?
As always the adverts are controlled by RUclips! Surely you know that? The music sometimes inserted is to stop the item being pulled by RUclips for copyright. If you dont like this channel, dont listen. If you dont want the adverts pay for RUclips premium. I, for one, appreciate the effort these channels put in for us to enjoy this freely.
intrusive music awoke my elderly mum So thoughtless and unnecessary. If you *have* to add music it should be of the 1930s same as the play
I agree. Gentle music works many people including me use these to fall asleep.
Have you tried the Stephen Dalton sleepy stories? Very gentle, I find them excellent for nodding off

If you’re so full of ideas, why don’t you make your own vlogs? I am sorry about your mother, but you’re acting like it was done on purpose. Have you tried earplugs or lowering your volume? That seems like the simplest solution.
