Wow, God really has a sense of humor. For the past few months, ive been obsessing over marriage like crazy and asking God for it. And just an hour ago, i got a thought in my head about not being good enough for marriage anyway. I literally just told Him, "im done,Lord, I'll just be single forever. Im not good enough for anybody,anyway." Next thing I know, i get on RUclips and this the first thing that I see. "GOD said stop begging for a spouse." I couldn't do nothing but laugh but I also take heed of it, too. I receive this. I must repent for idolizing marriage and lack of faith.

I do believe that God can place that desire to get married and have children. But I do agree with waiting on his timing and focus on God first. It is important to still put God first in a marriage.
The lord told me to put this verse from the message Bible ecclesiastes 3 There's an opportune time to do things. A right time for everything on the earth. 3 verse 1 to 15. And it also speaks on whatever God gives is a gift. This was directly taken from the message Bible to get a better understanding. This is a confirmation of what La La just said. God always confirmes his words which are in the bible.
Had I married in "my timing", I would have missed a season of bible study and crucial time with the Lord that will be the turning point of my entire life and purpose! God's timing is perfect and with or without a spouse I will serve the Lord!

I'm 41. I have never been in a relationship and no kids. I deal with this daily and it's even harder when you are the only one in the group that's single even my younger friends are married. I feel so hurt and let down. I know it will workout for the both of us. God has it all under control, no matter what it looks like he can and he will!!!.

I totally agree with your position. I’ve been single for about eight years now and I have prayed one single prayer about a partner and then I let it go. If it does not happen I will just be like one of the single women in the Bible I will still praise Jesus because my life is still complete and I am still whole in Christ. I don’t beg God for anything, except one thing is that I want to see my dead relatives in heaven, but I will still worship him, even if the answer is no.

This is not a Biblical promise. God does not grant marriage as a reward for spiritual maturity or faithfulness. Marriage is an earthly grace available to both the saved and the unsaved.

That line about marriage is not a graduation for singleness hit me. Also that marriage is not a better gift, but a different gift and we are ungrateful if we are not thankful if this gift/season. Thank you for being obedient and giving the message.
Also, I have a comment. We have to check ourselves, and I feel the church has a part to play. Marriage is publicly celebrated at church, but singleness is not. Rarely do you see single persons as ministry leaders, unless it is the singles ministry. I celebrate my friends engagements and weddings, but I do wonder where is my spouse. I have experienced healing from traumas on my life, so I know I was not a whole healed person if had married 5 years ago, and that would have been unfair both to him and me, so I have to trust God's timing, but I think it's natural to wonder when.
This Word is definitely for me for sure. All morning I've been praying about this, questioning why my ex boyfriend has been given several relationships since he left me and I've been alone for so long. I've been praying for 6 years that if He doesn't have someone for me to please take the desire away and to forgive me for being envious. Yet, my desire and jealousy grows stronger. The Lord needs to be my focus and I need to trust in His timing. Thanks for the message!

I was just telling my niece a few days ago that one thing I miss about being single is being able to spend 3-4 hours after work just worshipping God & praying and spending uninterrupted time with Him!!! As you said I use to be one of those ones that thinked that I deserved a husband. Because of my holy living, The Lord didn't send me no one at that time, when I was thinking that way. Years ago I use to think that way. But when I took my eyes off of wanting to be married so bad. That's when he send me someone. But wait it was a twist. I thought that I married the right man. Just find out later he had a criminal history. I had to go though with my ex-husband almost 4 in a half years. Just to get prepared for the one that I'm married to this day. But wait a minute I had to go though a little bit for the one I'm married to now. But The Lord delivered me and my husband from smoking and drinking alcohol. We both are completely living for the Lord now. Our marriage is almost close to be perfect. Because we put God first we pray together everyday. We pray for to be in God's perfect will. At first my husband was my God at first, because I put my husband first. Now God we put God completely first. Now my marriage is absolutely beautiful I look at my husband as God look at him. My husband is so precious and I love God so much and I love my husband as well. The Love between me and my husband is pure, because we put God first. It's completely important that everyone put God first. It's extremely important. God gave me to let you know, that you will get married. You will be absolutely happily married with your husband. Because you two will put God first. And it want be no divorcing between you and your husband to be. Your marriage will last to the end of time. You will have a beautiful marriage. This is what God gave me about you. Keep letting God use you the way that he do. God is very proud of you, you will be rewarded in God. I love your channel. Keep up the good work for God. I have been single over fifteen years. I have asked the Lord for a husband. I have asked Him to prepare me for His precious gift 🎁 He has already been preparing for me.
He has been processing me, and is using me to advance His kingdom. I believe He has the best in store for me.
Wow!!! This was for me!! Literally praying to god to help me getting over my loneliest. I have my brand new 🏡 home I purchased a few months ago. A great career. A beautiful daughter and I feel like that is missing. But I am going to listen and wait on him.

This video was good and gives people a lot to think about. It is confirmation of conversations I’ve had with God over the last few weeks. To the single out there that is still believing God for marriage, please please please surrender that desire over to God and allow the Holy Spirit to prepare your heart for all that God wants for you. It is only the Lord who keeps us and helps us to keep a sobering/realistic view of what marriage is and how to keep Him at the seat of the throne of your heart all while still having faith to believe He’s going to do what He said He’d do. This video completely wrecked and checked me! I am definitely holding myself accountable at this very moment. I had often asked God why he had given me so much success financially and career wise but no relationship success? Last year, on my 33rd birthday God stripped me of all relationships including friendships. He helped me realize that the company that I kept was not sent from him. Since last year I have had no friendships or relationships and I kept asking God why he was punishing me not realizing that this whole time he was pruning me and wanting a deeper relationship with me. You’re video has helped clarify a lot of the questions that I had and I have to admit that I was definitely envious of the people around me that were married because they had someone to do life with and I felt alone and isolated this past year. I am repenting right now!

This was SO GOOD. I fell into the “I deserve” group. You made a great point where you said marriage is not a graduation. These analogies were so on point.
This definitely led me to repentance. I was talking to my mom and she said this generation is different. She said her generation (she’s in her 60s) was not concerned with marriage. They lived life and guess what, most ppl ended up married. Social media is a big factor. We have to guard our eyes and ears on things. I stopped watching love is blind cus for me personally it’s too much relationship stuff I was consuming.
It’s like even with praying for a husband I started to feel convicted as I look at the state of this world and know we are in the end times. I need to be praying that ppl get to know Jesus. Again, this was really a powerful video, praise God❤

Once I saw the mirror he began to change my mindset about marriage to exactly what you’re saying. I used to wake up mad because I had received several prophecies about me getting married. A few days ago, I asked God to help me to be okay with the possibility that He may be calling me to a life of singleness. I admitted that it'd make me sad and I'd need His help. And to also keep me traveling if so 😂 God doesn't owe me anything at all. Had to intentionally stop watching all the kingdom marriage videos that are apparently "prophetic". Began to feel like I was addicted, as if I going to get a reading or something. Realized last year they were ultimately influencing my dreams which I believe may have led to deception.

Thank you for this video. I'm new to this channel but I needed to hear this. I was one of the ungrateful ones who wasn't content with being single. I use to hate it. I'm 46 and been single all my life. Never even courted a man. Never been sexually active. Not even a kiss for the first time from a guy. I'm finally at this stage in my life after praying so much for marriage and even fasted for marriage, I just decided to stop praying about it and be happy and content with my situation. Yes marriage is a blessing but singleness is too. There are benefits and advantages to being single that married people no longer have assess to anymore once they enter marriage life. For example if I'm too tired to cook I don't have to because it's just me. If I was married, how I'm feeling would not matter. I would have to sacrifice my feelings to fulfill the needs of my husband and kids and get in the kitchen and cook. I would have sacrifice myself and the freedom to do whatever I want and only whenever I feel like it with everything if I was married. Those are the things single people like me take for granted and never think about because we are so obsessed with having companionship that we don't think it's more to marriage than just that. We think the grass is only greener just in marriage life and don't realize and not paying any attention to the greener grass that's also in single life. As a single person with no kids, I have nobody to answer to but The Creator. But as a married woman, I would have to answer to The Creator in serving Him and in addition to that still serve my spouse and kids. As a single woman have a greater advantage in reading the Bible and serving other purposes the Lord has in store for me as a single person because I have more time on my hands to do so with me being by myself. If I'm married it would be challenging trying to adjust and arrange giving my time to God and putting my time in my family because me putting time in my spouse and kids would be a distraction from serving the Father like I need to do. If I don't learn to be content with single life, then that means if I was to get married I wouldn't be content in marriage either because when the loss of certain freedoms that I have now are gone and when I have to start sacrificing my wants and needs and make my spouse and kids second priority after the Father and put myself last, then reality is finally gonna hit me and make me realize that I wasted all my single years not cherishing, living it up, and appreciating those freedoms that I had because I spent my single hood being miserable.
To also add you are right!! I literally hear married people say how good I have it and they would never do it again.

Of course I will still worship God if I never get married and find a wife. But it's very hard to go through life without one , meanwhile on top of not being married trying to abstain from sex, trying to live right, to remain clean and discipline is very tough trying to Navigate through this world. The scripture says he who finds a wife finds a good thing, so I'm not supposed to pray to find my good thing?
There’s a difference between praying and begging. Pray for the spouse and continue to grow with the Lord as He prepares you for that marriage.
When you are consumed with praying for a spouse.. that’s when it’s idolatry and proof of discontentment.
The last 3 questions are hard for me to answer because I desire Marriage and children. Yes I am grateful for Life and the relationship that I have with GOD. Can I have it all? What makes another more worthy than me to receive the same desires of their heart?

I am 62 years old and have been struggling with this for over 40+ years. Everything that you said is so true; but I hurt and have been in pain for many, many, many years! I went through a few weeks recently of feeling alone, praying for him to send me my husband and as I was dwelling in that feeling of lonely I was missing his presence that I was use to feeling! I went to Him and He showed me I can't do what He needs me to do right now and He needs me to grow in other ways first. I can relate to the married by 25 aspiration! I am approaching 30 this year and I am so grateful for not being married when I expected, because I am not the same woman today that I was then and I thank God for that! I am truly falling in love with the creator and my prayer today is to have his desires for me according to his will for my life, not my own.

Im living proof rhat when you wait on GOD, and worship him in your singleness, he always has your spouse waiting… he just needs your full attention first. I did that… wenr celibate for 3 years, had a spiritual attack and right after, GOD said “ok, you’re ready now…you prayed theough what Satan was taking you through and you didnt waiver on me”. Your time is coming… my husband is my best friend. We were actually childhood sweethearts, but the rime wasnt right for us to marry. When we finally reconnected, both of us knew we had prayed for each other. ❤❤❤❤

God has allowed me to see this and to grow past it and repent 🙏🏽 Where does this sense of value come from? Only a man can validate you as a woman? Our families? The culture? Social Media pressure? Our “clocks” ticking? Watching too many episodes of a TV show where women are always on a man hunt? Forces us to force a situation that’s not His will for us. I pray our younger sisters are taught to not idolize the creation, but build a relationship with God and the Savior Jesus above all else.

I have been notifying God how I am soo ready and why He is holding out on me for ? I tell myself I am not that bad I have stayed away from everything He told me to. He's given me a dream of my spouse 15 times in the course of 1 year and 1/2 , He's kept me updated but left how its going to happen out and that had led me to frustration, anger, depression and resentful. I realise my arrogance, self righteousness and pride to demand another gift over what He's given me currently. I have prayed for repentance and asked God to help me enjoy this season of singleness it indeed a peaceful gift, I let my pride blind me from God's blessings. 😢

Mark 9:24. That's where I've been at for most of the last 12-15 years. I've been asked that question before: "If you never marry would God be enough for you?" And I have a hard time with that one because of the way it's worded, and I like your wording better. I think if we have a strong desire to be married then that is confirmation that God has someone for us someday. He said from the beginning it was not right for Adam to be alone. And we certainly have the example of Jacob who wrestled with God until he received what he was promised; whether or not it was a good example I don't know but I have heard sermons preached on it from multiple perspectives. But I've also heard many different iterations of "if you're not happy alone you won't be happy with someone," and your Word definitely confirms that perspective. And I really do want to get to the place where I'm content with whatever season I'm in but I need to be honest that I'm not there yet and have never been there, not for 25 years. So I'm back to "Lord I believe, help my unbelief."

Hello sis! I'm Yasmine. I was rejoicing throughout the whole video. The Lord is so awesome!! The video title alone had me laughing because God really does have a sense of humor. I could hear Him say, "Tell your tribe to stop begging me for a spouse." 😁😁I'm 44 years old, single and never married. I honestly don't know anyone who is happier than me. I'm an extrovert, but I also love my own company. I come from a Haitian culture where marriage is indeed idolized, but I chose the military life at age 20 and it forever changed my life and perspective on what I can contribute to this world as a woman.
I thank God for the gift of singleness and for giving me the grace, the heart, and the mind to embrace it and enjoy it. I thank Him for giving me contentment because my inner world is full.
