Did you know that the Ten Commandments are actually ten promises?
When we think of the Ten Commandments, we often associate them with a list of rules or restrictions. But if we look closer, we can see that each commandment is actually a promise from God.
For example, "You shall not murder" is not just a rule to follow, but a promise of respect for human life. "You shall not steal" is a promise of honesty and integrity.
When we understand the Commandments as promises, we see them as gifts from God, guiding us towards a life of love, justice, and compassion.
So the next time you think of the Ten Commandments, remember that they are not just rules to follow, but promises to uphold.

His Word is written on our hearts, and when we accept Yehoshua Messiah our hard hearts are softened to accept. Thank you for doing this

Very confirming, Tanach teaches obedience = faith. Why does Moses have six fingers at 16:19 ??

Shalom , it is what we are to do because we are judged according to what we do. If we choose to be led by Yehoshua Messiah, our Father's truth and righteous ways of justice, we receive the help of His Holy Spirit to overcome and have His likeness restored in us more and more. It is in trust in His leadership and none other.

I learned recently the same thing from a Messianic Jew Rabbi, they are called the ten words, and it literally says, My people do not have other gods, My people do not forget Sabbath, My people do not forget to honor their parents, etc.. It was to set them apart as people who do not do the things the other peoples of the earth do.

Ive always read it as rhe 10 words yes. Ive read the ealry jews heard it as when u obey them the last one is the promise that you would desire anything else, which flows to the rich young ruler how he was following them and not finding that promise. Also good follow up be the different thoughts of why there was 2 tablets. Really good video buddy

Shalom brother. When Christians say that the ASRET HA' DEVERIM along with the TORAH and TANAK were nailed to the cross, and only the Yahudyim have to follow them, it breaks my heart. Because this is not true at all. I don't understand how people can think that they can have yesh'ua without observing these most important instructions that EL SHADDAI gave us. They say "We are not under the TORAH because we are not under the LAW". When they don't even realize that TORAH doesn't mean law, it means instruction. So therefore to me , this is proof that what MASHIACH says in Matithyahu chapter 7 about when "Christians" are in front of MASHIACH on that great day of EL ELEON YHWH TSEVA'OTH saying to ME "ADONAI, ADONAI", will not get into the MALCHUT HA' SHEMYIM. Awesome video brother. By the way brother, Chag Pesach kasher vasame'ach!!!! YAH bless!!!

Are not the mitzvot expressions of the character of those who follow Adonai? Thus those who have the indwelling of the spirit of God within us Will Walk This Way

This was a nice teaching that you gave us, you should use our fathers name where it is written. NOT SUBSTITUTING ADONAI, AS I WHANT TO KNOW "GOD" AND HIS SON BOTH

Thanks for commenting friend. And I do use His Name very often. But, I also use Adonai. Sometimes I like to say HaShem. I like them all but His Name is by far the the best.
