    Girl I started at an CC and ended up graduating at an Uni and I loved starting at CC because it gave me a sense of idea what I was getting myself into instead of going straight to a university. It was smaller so the classes were smaller and gave the teachers a chance to know me. I didn’t care about being made fun of 🤷🏽‍♀️ I graduated in 2019 with my bachelors in Psychology.

    I've been going to community college (online) for the past 2 years cuz I also graduated hs in 2020. one thing that I didn't anticipate was how lonely it is. It's just not something that I thought about beforehand. and I'm not a social butterfly either. I never reached out to other kids (even in hs) and I really regret that. with all my hs friends moving away to their universities it became very lonely as I was the only one left in our town. it felt very isolating cuz all I would do is wake up, log into class, eat, then go to sleep. for 2 years. having no social interaction really took a toll on me. so I definitely recommend reaching out and trying to make new friends. or even just acquaintances lol. and if you're anything like me, I know it can be scary to reach out, and it's so much easier to stay in your shell. but pleaseee try and reach out. even it's just one person that you become friends with! one person can truly make a difference. anyway, hope you have a nice day :)

    Illinois has the Illinois Articulation Initiative, so that makes courses pretty easy to transfer. Everyone's situation is different of course, but CC does offer so many benefits! Some even offer dual credit while you're in high school and low or no-cost CLEPP testing which doesn't harm your GPA and counts for college credit! How cool is that? Great video, Congratulations on graduating soon!

    I have been studying at a 2-year college for 7 years. I have started at a 2-year college at age 18 a semester after I graduated from high school. For right now, I am graduating with my AA degree in Liberal Arts at age 25. I just turned 25 on last Monday the 30th of January. During my first time attended to a 2-year college, I have studied management as my technical diploma. When I transferred to another 2-year college from state to state, I have switched my management as my technical diploma to liberal arts as my AA degree. I have been working on my AA degree for 6 years. I was always a part time student. At a young age, I had to travel all over around the states due to my dad’s job in the military services. He is technically my stepdad, but I always call him dad because I grew up with him. I am working on my second book which is called My Life Throughout with Autism and Being a Military Child. I will get my first book published as soon as my graduation ceremony is over. I will have it announce on RUclips of when my first book gets published. If you want to know which states I lived in before, my first book will be ready for you to publish. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. I went to a life skills program to learn how to communicate. I have been taking life skills during my school years from preschool to 8th grade. In high school, I started to be in the mainstream classes, but with one on one assistant assisted me in my assignments. It was for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. In 9th grade, I was in mainstream in the classes, but I got helped with my assignments as well! I graduated from high school in the spring of 2016. I was born in the city of Buffalo in New York. I lived there in my early childhood until age 5. I was in kindergarten when I left Buffalo. I speak Spanish and English. Even though I learned Spanish and English at the same time as a child, English has always been my first language. I started to speak more Spanish when I first moved to Puerto Rico at age 16. During the summer before going to 11th grade, I have practiced with basic sentences in Spanish. I have started to speak some Spanish to my friends who does not spoke that much English. I understood most of the Spanish but I spoke a little bit of Spanish. When I was at age 17 or 18, I have started to practice more on Spanish with sentences. So, I could’ve speak more Spanish to my family members who are from Colombia and Puerto Rico. I started to speak Spanish fluently at age 18 going to college. I started to read in Spanish by the myself when I first moved to Puerto Rico at age 16. I have started to watch series and movies in Spanish to help me speaking Spanish fluently. I have watched Spanish TV program to help me communicate in Spanish with my family members. I have watched Univision to help me to speak Spanish as well. It is a Spanish program that people can learn a language of speaking Spanish. I do know that taking Spanish courses in high school is not the same as learning a language as long as it is something for heritage speakers. I am taking Spanish for Heritage Speakers as a college level course. My dream career is to be an actor and journalist. After I complete with my AA degree, I will train for acting in the studio. Then, I will work on my BA degree in Broadcast Journalism. I will probably be getting my BA degree when I am at age 29 because I will be taking earning my BA degree for 3 to 4 years. It all depends on how many credits hours I have. Also, I will be doing internship for journalism while I am at a 4-year college as well. Also, congratulations on earning your AA degree. I really enjoyed watching your video because your video is great! Your video is very helpful. It has inspired me to this video. Good luck with earning your BA degree wherever you go. My name is Andres by the way! It is pleasure to meet you. God bless you and your family. 🙏❤️

      "college experience" is hella overrated. vocational and trade schools are still stigmatize but they have other opportunities that universities don't offer.

      @@RichKilla86erssuch an asinine and ignorant remark. I made my best connections at uni and many other people do. If anything, it’s uni that’s stigmatized more than the trades. But who am I to say, I graduated with a degree in BA and moved out of my country to Vancouver

      @@RichKilla86ersplus, the trades breed a cesspool of a certain type of scum-of-the-earth people with very black and white thinking, along with close mindedness and certain political viewpoints that, if they were smart enough to even realize the paradox they’ve found themselves in, would become a politician and fix that very law or idea they have. But noooo they’re too busy with breaking their backs all day just to come home to a cold meal made by the misses, some lukewarm beer, and changing into the wife beater to get to beating, well, you know who. While I often engage in hyperbole, there is a direct correlation between the trades and abuse, whether it be with substances or physical, addiction, and immaturity.

    • @RichKilla86ers
      @RichKilla86ers Год назад

      @@zekeyeager1458 the funny thing is that you’re still going to write a check or pay card for the skilled technicians who fix your car, HVAC, plumbing, etc. or aircraft mechanics working on the plane you fly in. Calling them scums that you are paying them cause you are not train nor certified to fix it yourself. Grease monkeys making America run.

    • @zekeyeager1458
      @zekeyeager1458 Год назад

      @@RichKilla86ers Even more ignorance and arrogance from the pleb. You see, you’re using a thing called the internet. Something created by DARPA, where humanity’s greatest science and technology minds come together. Everything that has ever existed in the aether and ever will exist is on this particular platform. I’ve replaced my thermal fuses on my clothing dryer because it wasn’t heating here -> ruclips.net/video/ajDWK7x1J5Q/видео.html I’ve replaced my Tacoma’s trans fluid and engine oil regularly, though trans not as often, from here -> ruclips.net/video/I9ZHWhW7Aso/видео.html in fact, most things don’t even require any sort of deep research when it comes to such monotonous tasks like fixing a dishwasher’s power panel and resetting the circuit breaker, or fixing a dishwasher disposal. Everything is on the internet and if you were so inclined and proactive as I am to take advantage of this wonderful gift, maybe you too would be able to be more self sustaining and sufficient without the need of said people. And if your health is hindering you from doing so? Well, there’s videos to get in shape too.
      I don’t take flights anywhere when I cross the border, Seattle is a hop over if I wanted to. However, cherrypicking certain things like so is laughable. I don’t have respect for people like them just as little respect I have for the people on Wall Street or the people of the recent events at SVB (Silicon Valley Bank) but you can bet that $220 billion that they’re going to bailed out by the government just as they were in 2008 because if they collapse, EVERYTHING does. That’s how important those people are. Far more important than, again, those trade workers for some airline that, quite honestly, are slowly disappearing due to AI implementation in trade oriented jobs, nuclear research to rely less on god-awful fossil fuels and become more self sustaining, and less transportation thanks to 15 minute cities where you are accommodated with everything you need within a bike ride.
      By the way, I don’t pay other people’s salary. Didn’t go to school for that one, luv ;p and if you haven’t woken up in the past 30 or so years or have just been living under a rock, America’s industrial sectors have been on a rapid spiral downward. They don’t make clothes in the US anymore, only about 3% is still made here. Along with many other commodities. They’re all being made by the up and coming industrial powerhouses of this new multipolar world and they’re people like Indonesia, Vietnam, India and China. Those are the people you should be thanking for making your tawdry and shoddy clothing on your back, the shoes on your feet, and even the food you eat. Clap down and get off your high horse.
