    You are too soft with brokers in asking for more money for extra work and wrong dimensions of the load. You lost a load out of Plant city due to wrong dimensions out of Sanford.

      Yeah no kidding, since were going through another economic disaster like the 2008 housing bubble. Though they say the economy is starting to do better now, but when we see how many homes go into forclosure, and people's cars get repo'd, it will suggest otherwise.

      Since the skid-loader looks too old to have fancy electronics to cause parasitic drains, I think its likely that the battery is just far out of date, and past its prime. Modern vehicles act the same way after you jump them, and if the battery can't hold a charge, they engine will just seem to die for no reason, because the fuel injection computer requires voltage from the battery. Old carbureted vehicles from the 80's and earlier didn't have this problem, but they had other issues, like difficulty to start during the winter time when it was freezing. So I guess modern stuff is a mixed bag I suppose.

    Chant when you hooked the booster cables to the skid steer you had the other end on the ground touching each other, you're lucky that battery was dead.

    • @stellarproductions8888
      @stellarproductions8888 5 месяцев назад

      Yep, or the cables would have welded themselves together, and then he'd learn why welders use DC voltage, even though they are plugged into 220V AC mains lol. Honestly, this whole situation was a mess, and it wasn't Chants fault. Information was not communicated to Chant, he entered this situation blind, and it was like a kick in the pants. I truly hope Chant was right, and that he got paid well for this job. If I had to deal with this, I would demand 200 dollars more for an hour of my time wasted figuring out the mess.

    Chant you should purchase a jump pack make life alot easier in those cases

      I agree 100%! I mean heck, even Chant has dealt with his own dead battery at times, I recommended a long time ago he get a jump pack then. Since I've seen him load a large pickup truck on his flatbed trailer before, and we all know diesels in general need extra juice to compensate for the extra compression, regardless if its diesel truck or diesel skid-loader, I really think the jump pack he needs to get, is one rated to jump start 8L diesel engines, that should be enough. The same jump pack could also jump a 11L gas engine. You can get affordable ones like a Gooloo GT3000 or the 4000 model.

      Chant should jump on that, so he doesn't have to turn down many loads. He also should up his insurance to 2-million, so brokers don't turn him down. Its one thing for the operator to cancel a load, but when the operator gets cancelled on by the broker, you feel the pain, and its not fun. Chant is going to figure this all about, I have faith in him. And who knows, maybe if he does well hot shotting, then maybe he will get his class A CDL, and enter big rig trucking.

    IF that was a repo you should have been told so by your broker! Thats a dirty trick to just let you go into a hornets nest.

      never trust a broker, the best way is to brokerage your own loads, brokers are soon to be a thing of the past as more businesses catch on to what they're doing.

    You keep getting loads like that you might want to look into getting a carry permit if you don't all ready have one. Always better to have and not need then to need and not have
