For the first time a lawyer is neutral in doing justice to the case of Dele Farotimi and Afe Babalola not the oppressive tool used by the state and the SAN of darkness coming to spew rubbish in public.

If the case requires that the mentioned judges publish their statements of account and defend sources of their wealth, are you sure the country will not implode?

To be honest, thats my worry in this whole saga! If he doesnt have any concrete or tangible evidence which CANNOT be reasonably disputed, then he is in deep trouble.
      I honestly hope he does.
Its clear the criminal justice system is a complete failure, but its has to be proven and i know that a lot of lawyers will not agree to that claim, especially the ones that benefit from it. So they will do anything to fight that claim!!

Dele is an intelligent fellow, well red, and above that he practices law close to 30th years You and I don't expect such a fellow to use 11th years writing what he doesn't know about. That book is 11 years project. He challenged them to sue him if they felt hurt or defamed even before he was arrested.

It will not be out of place to say the government only uses Afe Babalola to get at Dele. This book was published since June and no one says anything. We all know that Dele is an astute critic of this government. In fact he was pushing for civil disobedience for the Nigerian to pressure the government to re amend the electoral law. That civil protest was to take effect December 5th, and he was abducted the following day he did that conference. Even from the way they acted speaks volumes.

This case was meant to happen for people to understand how bad the system is. Nigeria unfortunately is still a 3rd world country. So sad

Farotimi should probe his accusation. Everyone will act like Afe Babalola if wrongly accused

You don't act like an oppressor, you file a suit and thr case will be heard. Not to lock someone up because you control the system and has become larger than life!

The criminal defamation law is there to prevent lying against someone in the name of free speech. If you dont like the law, dont contravene the law.

Why on earth is an old supposed legal luminary like Afẹ́ Babalọla displaying such disdain and spite towards a young man exercising his fundamental freedom thought and speech.
