That's Fantastic Danny!! You guys it looks great!!!!! Love the cows jumping looks like they were playing and happy.... he called to you when you walked away to close the gate... I just love that!!!
Looking great! Ya'll have come so far since 2015. We have been watching your channel since early 2016 or so. Hoping for a great season of new babies and abundance in your gardens and great health. 🙏❤
Really, VERY VERY interesting! Thanks for the tour! Everything you dear folks do with the animals grabs my attention! God bless everybody with feet on Deep South! : )
I enjoy your channel for the common sense farm/homestead knowledge. I totally agree with how important infrastructure is on a homestead. Rome wasn't built in a day....a little at a time approach, helps you realize what works best. Thank-you for all the hard work you do to bring us your videos. Have a great day....Barn looks great!
It's coming together nicely. Everything about your design just plain makes sense. Efficient and purposeful for the humans and comfortable for the animals.
The barn is looking awesome!! So glad the cows are liking it! Sure will make things better for humans and critters both!! Thanks for sharing it with us!! CG
I noticed when watching this video...when you showed us the "first" stall, how the gate opens, etc., the top hinge is longer than the others and protrudes out. Chance of injuring themselves (noses/mouths)...just FYI.
AMAZING! You have thought of everything! Hoping to implement some of your ideas before I get goats. Awesome video! P.S I grew up in Natchez, Mississippi and my husband is from there. (Woodville) We’re across the river now. You sound just like my daddy when he used to call his hogs and cows.
I've raised dairy goats for years & after growing up raising & showing goats my daughter now has a 500 head goat dairy in northern Iowa. One of the most heartbreaking things we've learned the hard way is to make sure our does get the maximum exercise possible all during gestation. Pregnancy toxemia can kill them so quickly if they're in pens and can't get enough exercise. LOTS of exercise!!
Our goats roam our acre front field all day. They also have a 2 acre wooded area that they can roam. We believe that exercise is important for all animals. .
It is a joy to see how you and Wanda provide so well for Hank and farm animals.

Everyone needs a Danny on their homestead.... lol You accomplish incredible things on 10 acres. You both are so efficient and organized.
It's coming together nicely. Everything about your design just plain makes sense. Efficient and purposeful for the humans and comfortable for the animals.
Looking Good, Mr. Danny. I don't know if this was shot before or after your illness, but, I hope you are feeling much better.
This was done last week before Danny got sick. Thanks
Looks great!
Looks good. God bless Deep South.

Oh my goodness, what planning you have done!
Good morning! Love the barn! Can't wait to see the baby goats!
The new addition looks great and we'll thought out to me
Wow. Everything is looking great. Do you know how many kids each goat is having?
No this is the first time for them.
Those goats are so funny... Love the set up. Seems very efficient!
Very good planning which will save you so much work and keep the animals safe when needed. Are you insulating the barn addition?
No
Nice.
What a great set up, Danny. Good job! All this building and creativity makes me so anxious for Spring and my own projects. Sigh.....
Its a dirty job but some one's got to do it! Awesome little system!
Nice job. One can tell a lot of thought has gone into this.
Great work😀
That's an awesome Barn!
They seem to like it 😊👍
Great set up Danny.
nice set up Y'all 👍
Love the barn addition! Lucky goats and cows to have you and Wanda for owners
What’s up with the cows? They know spring is coming
Does a cow have enough sense to get out of the cold or do you have to coax them in
Usually ours sleep in the barn and they come in on their own.
@@DeepSouthHomestead very nice set up.... the only thing missing is air conditioning for the summertime
Nice barn setup! God bless
Oh man. That is a very nice set up!
THANKS for the goat infrastructure ideas! This video is now saved to my “Goats” playlist. “Keep on Keeping on!” Tim @ Cliffside Acres
Hey did you make you shed
Yes i built it all.
I noticed when watching this video...when you showed us the "first" stall, how the gate opens, etc., the top hinge is longer than the others and protrudes out. Chance of injuring themselves (noses/mouths)...just FYI.
Those have been there since 2007 and no injuries.

Y'all have some healthy looking animals
Lovely barn wish I had the space
Didn't take them long to settle in.
What breed of cows are they?
The male is Dexter and the female is Dexter and Jersey cross.
Nice setup for the cows & the goats. The new addition for the barn looks really good and its going to make taking care of animals so much easier.
