Since that first time, I've listened through a transformation from WOW to THERE ARE NO OTHER WORDS to describe her anymore!! Having listened to a few other artists covering Defying Gravity, I ALWAYS find myself being mesmerized when only SHE is singing the story!! I've been captivated with every cover and every word because with her voice it's as though I'm listening to one of the greatest stories ever told!! She is stunning and I continue to question why this extraordinary young lady is not known all over the world and question when someone is going to finally sit up and take notice of her to make that happen!! I live in the U.S. and Morissette, by far and imho, is more talented than any American pop star on the charts, today!!!

She played the role popularized by Demi Lovato and at a very young age (16 I suppose) she already possessed the power, clarity and "shimmer". This was prior to her joining The Voice (Philippines).

I remember taking part in the live chat earlier today while this was airing & mentioning a young girl named Beau Dermott who performed a mind blowing rendition of this on BGT 4 years ago at the tender age of..... (wait for it).... 12!!! Yes, Beau was only 12 when she did it & blew everyone away. Thanks to that performance & now this one by “her majesty”... I now can’t get this song out of my head 🤪🤪🤪 (Surely a good thing huh?). I was walking around at work occasionally bursting out into song (yes, this one, but NOT as great as Mori) & people were looking at me like I’d just “busted out of the rubber room” 🤪🤪😜😜
