I have a 2008 chevy express 2500 extended. But he engine and set up is the same. But she is exactly right. Remove DOGHOUSE IN THE MIDDLE U DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE SEATS just shift DOGHOUSE from side to side. Hose was definitely broken . Go to lowes or home depot and get 1/4 clear tubing .cut and repair vacuum hoses through fire walla and to the T located under battery rack. Easy fix. Video was awesome and Exact..THANKS

Pregunto porqué revisando me di cuenta que no tiene esa pieza amarilla como si fuera un tapon, y al taparlo con la mano se siente que succiona aire, espero me entiendan y puedan contrstar. Gracias
It’s been awhile since I made this video but I will check. There shouldn’t be an open hose sucking air because it wouldn’t create a strong enough vacuum to open and close the actuator door, if it was open it would be the same as the cracked hose that I replaced. But I will still check- I won’t be able to see that delivery truck until next week though.

plug in the actuator, turn the ignition to the run position (don’t start it). Hold the new (plugged in) actuator so you can see the door opening arm- turn the switch on the dash to change air flow, you will see it move to line up where you need it. Hope this helped, thanks for watching my video!

How did you fish the hose back up from the hose to the t connect
Can you list the size and length of the black vacuum hose that went under the doghouse? Was that black hose also 1/4"?
I just used the old hose end for size and length.
Where is the cab air filter?
It doesn’t have one
How do you lineup the pin with the blendoor

How easy would it be to change the transmission on these? From the look of it
I’m not good enough to do the transmission on this but I did have it rebuilt not long ago, it cost a couple thousand but works great now.
i just pulled my tube off today and was geting no vac ganna change my hose
