no, i am a rhythmic gymnast and my coach is a judge and we set up a lot for comeptitions and there is meant to be a small springy floor put underneath the carpet.

rhythmic gymnastics carpets unlike artistic gymnastics carpets are simply carpet put on hard floor, they're not bouncy at all
