That line caught me, too! My heart breaks over their fertility struggles and all they are having to go through, but the love they have for each other is truly special. What a gift for them to share with us!
So true! Like something out of a good romance film. Complete with the commentary of a husband who's audibly in love on the opposite side of the road. You can't script a scene like this. Just beautiful to witness, truly.
The light signal and sneaking in snacks made my heart smile. And this nurse would not have gotten mad. How could you? “I’m sorry…I love my wife. ❤” That sincere face!
Jessi, you are a strong positive roll model for all women struggling with infertility. Wow, my hearted melted when you showed the flashlight on the ceiling that you were ok. Alessio, loves you so dearly. God knows how much you are doing to have a baby. My prayers are with you both.
I had severe Endometriosis, 5 surgeries for it, told due to scar tissue I should just have a hysterectomy because I could never have children. I was 20 yrs old. I refused. I am the proud mother of two amazing sons! God bless this couple and all the others struggling with medical and infertility issues. 🙏🏼🫶🏻
My wife suffered horrible ENDO for years!!! it was all over her insides, reproductive organs, on her intestines etc. She had 3 surgeries to remove it and it helped for awhile but ultimately she had to have a complete hysterectomy at 35. Luckily we never wanted kids so we were just happy to get her pain free.
My grandmother had a grapefruit sized mass inside her uterus and had to have her uterus removed. Luckily she had already had as many kids as she wanted.@@MsWarriordiva
Endometriosis is a horrible painful disease but in most instances it is not life threatening like endometrial cancer which I just pasted my 20 year survivor anniversary. I was 45 when I was diagnosed and fortunately I was at an early stage. But, because this is considered an estrogen feeding cancer I could not take hormone replacement post op, and several months later I went into a surgical menopause from hell. But this was a small price to pay as my total hysterectomy saved my life. Wish Jessi and all other women suffering from female organs diseases healing.
Jessi .... you look great after surgery, even more beautiful without make-up than with make-up. Let your skin breathe and stay healthy, we in Europe fall in love with the inside character and not so much with the looks. And your eyes show the beauty and purity of your soul, heart, blood and character. Alessio is a lucky man having you.
My wife had endo very bad. She dealt with it for 10 years and finally said enough. She had everything except 1 ovary removed. The endo came back 5 years later and 3 months ago she had it cleaned up again. Her ovary measured 3.5 inches due to the size of the cyst. My wifes health was worth more having kids. Good luck!
I personally appreciate you both being so open and sharing all of your experiences with endometriosis. People like you on RUclips and Reddit are literally how I have been able to learn so much of what others with endo are going through. It can be such a lonely disease and so many of us are brushed off as you were with your pain before Italy. I’m so happy you found a doctor who validated your pain and made an action plan on how to treat it. Pretty crazy that we (need to) consider going to other countries for help with our pain. Best Of luck to you both!

I’ve been with my wife for 22 years and with endo. Some of the best stuff that worked for her was getting rid of all soy hidden soy like vegetable oil in the US is just soy oil. Avoid bleached flour and enriched wheat flour in the US also. Eliminating those were some of the biggest things we did for her. Our three children are also from IVF.
Dear Jessi and Alessio, My ex and I struggled with fertility issues. After 7 years of trying...but we didn't go through half as much as you...I made the decision to adopt ( had to convince him). Anyway.....My heart and prayers are with you on this journey. You are an inspiration to other couples who are having the same struggle. Your love and support for each other is amazing and a joy to witness. Much love!
We absolutely Love y'all, my husband doesn't watch RUclips but when I watch y'all he tunes in and loves y'all so much! He says y'all's story touches us! We wish you good luck!
I worked with one of thee best infertility doctors in SA for 6 years. We saw many cases of Endometriosis. I myself had Adenomyosis, which is where the uterine cells grow into the uterus. 3 things I would mention that the doctor I worked for used. The first was "Indocyanine green". This was used during surgery to illuminate areas of Endometriosis to make sure he didn't miss any areas. Second is Lupron. This would lower the Estrogen level to help "dry up" endometriosis. Thirdly was when birth control was needed for a patient with endometriosis, we made sure it was a Progesterone only birth control. We didn't want to "feed" to endometriosis. The journey of infertility is a long and painful one. You are brave to share it with the world and I pray for the best results.
You two have stolen my heart…..Jessi you are so brave and strong! And the love between you two is amazing. Sending prayers for answers and healing ❤️🙏🏻

I am happy for you that you had a positive experience in Verona. When i had my operation (maybe by the same doctor, i dont remember the name), it was still in the old building. I was lucky, i had a 2pers room with private bathroom. The bigger rooms had bathrooms in the hallway. But the my main memory of the event is the following. When i was just back from surgery, and immobile in the bed, there was an earthquake. Nothing major, but still, the building was shaking and there was a sound coming from inside the ground as a roaring lion. The elderly lady in the bed next to me kept screaming: o dio o dio un terremoto. The nurses started to evacuate the building, but left me alone in the room because i could not yet be moved. That was a bit scary, to be left alone. But very quickly everything went back to normal. I wish you all the best during your recovery, and hopefully we see you back in Italy soon.
Wow! I can’t believe how good you look the day after surgery. I’ve never had an experience like that. I think it’s awesome that you did this in Italy. I think being there is the best place for you right now. Sending healing prayers and also prayers for the next chapter of your journey to start a family🙏💕
I loved that you shared your experience in the hospital in Verona. It is apparent your love for each other. The light on the ceiling was so sweet and your husband loved it. I am glad you were so well treated and it was such a positive experience. Wishing you all the best.
You two are so inspiring❣Always smiling and thinking of how to help others while going through some pretty intense stuff! Real troopers! I wish you the highest outcome that will fulfill your hearts' desire ❤
Hi guys, i wish you a fast and full recovery! I’m from Verona and my uncle underwent heart surgery in the same hospital (borgo Trento), he had the same view for his room. I went visiting him almost every day for a month and every time i pass by with my car i remember those Times. I hope you had time to enjoy this beautiful city!
My blessings to you both. I have also gone through this - not successfully for me but Jessi is far younger. Let yourself be sad and stay positive. It sounds contradictory- it is - but all your feelings are the right ones. You are both strong and will get through the worst of it.
I hope before you leave Verona you get to visit Juliette's balcony. This city is the right place for you to be. The love you two show to one another is just amazing. I think Verona is an omen for your success, it suits you.
Jessi you'll be fine I'm a lot older than you and I just had pelvic prolapse extensive surgery. Thankfully I had a young doctor and she was fast but it was still an hour and a half surgery. I also was tested for covid in the the US. I didn't have a chest either. I came out of the surgery flying colors and I healed faster than I expected for a older woman. You're young and healthy and you will be just fine. I won't say I wasn't in pain but the surgery I had was more painful than a hip replacement and a knee replacement. Good luck keep up posted. ❤
So glad things are progressing well. I understand the language issues in the hospital. I live in a very French area in Canada so surgeries etc over the years have been challenging. The doctors normally are bilingual but the nurses not as much (about 1/5 can speak fairly well the others really vary…. As my French has improved it’s gotten a little easier but when you are not well it is far more difficult to communicate in your second language).
Awww Jessi darling, i think it’s virtually impossible to make you unhappy! You’re always appreciative of people and cheerful. ❤ So glad u responded well n look great too. Alessio’s excitement at seeing you use the phone light from yr ward was sooooo touching. Awww bless his heart.
Good luck to both of you ! I went thru IVF a few times. Everything around fertility is so hard..Praying when you go thru a storm you get a beautiful rainbow after 🌈
I recently came across your videos on social media and was unaware of what you are going through. As a fellow endo patient with stage 4, having undergone numerous fertility treatments, your video brought back many memories of hospital stays. I wish Jessi a swift recovery and all the best to you both on your journey. xxx
I also has endometriosis from 13 til 36 years. I had 5 laparoscopies for endometriosis. The first two I was in overnight before my surgery but my last ones I was admitted the morning before surgery. My last was a hysterectomy. I never had children but had 8 losses.
I'm glad all went well and your hospital stay was positive. Yes, the hospital of Borgo Trento gynecology section Ospedale della Donna e del Bambino is top in endometriosis. You are in excellent hands! If you can, have a little tour of Verona before leaving. Buona guarigione.😊
It sounds like really good news. Honestly, it sounds like you got better, more comprehensive care in Italy.... And compression stockings are a fantastic idea for all surgical patients to help prevent blood clots while you are not quite as mobile during recovery! I'm so excited for the next step in your fertility journey! Sending lots of baby dust and bundles of joy energy to you both🩷💙🩷💙
In Italy they're pretty much mandatory -men and women- for all the major surgeries. And, depending on the hospital and surgery, you must keep them on even for days. 6 years ago I had a 4-5hours long surgery, I stayed 5 days but I had to keep my stocking on for like..more than a week? while still doing anti-coagulant shots at home. I still have them!
Although unfortunate, my wife and I are going through the EXACT same things. The endo, the tube removals, long surgery, and now IVF. Having friendly, happy faces to relate to has helped a little along the way. God bless friends. And thank you for being so brave to share your story
Knowing your journey is so helpful to other women struggling with endometriosis and fertility. Like you said, knowing the options out there. Thank you for sharing it all! I have a MRI today for my endometriosis that was diagnosed in 2022. I started having pain after my son’s birth when I was 19 years old, 5 years ago. I’ve had two laparoscopic surgeries; 2020 due to a ruptured cyst and 2022 to have endometrial tissue removed in three areas. Both times I was crying in pain at home from the gas so I was so surprised to see you handling the pain well. This year I’ve switched to a hospital that’s two hours away from me and has a endometriosis department!🙏 Last month the new hospital did blood work and a pelvic ultrasound. They saw issues with my left ovary and uterus and adhesions. The stomach and lower back pain never got better after my 2022 surgery, but my main concern for getting checked out again is the leg pain that comes and goes. They suspect deep infiltrating endo due to where I had tissue removed from in 2022. I’m praying for decent results in the coming days.😊 Trying to get it all figured out before trying for those 10 kids haha.❤️
❤Congratulations on a successful surgery 🎉. I’m so glad it went well. But I’m sorry that you’re going through so very much. Thank you for sharing this. I also have Endometriosis. It has certainly made a big impact on my life and health. May God bless you both as He guides your steps.
"I'm sorry ... I love my wife." - What a beautiful and amazing thing to witness! - Whishing all the best to both of you!

That’s what we Italians do: sneaking snacks into the hospital to make our family members feel better😊🙏
Sì!! It's a classic...😂
We Hispanics do the same, bring all kind of foods under the concept "you need to eat, that will heal you"
Why is it forbidden? Do they just like to monitor your intake?
Jessi’s smile after surgery its when you find a doctor to help you and see the light at the end of the tunnel 😊

Sending so much love love, healing light, and prayers for you both. Praying you get pre and have a healthy baby! 💙❤️💜🩵🩷
I'm praying that everything goes well for your IVF and a year from now, you have your precious baby. 🙏🙏🙏
Although unfortunate, my wife and I are going through the EXACT same things. The endo, the tube removals, long surgery, and now IVF.
Having friendly, happy faces to relate to has helped a little along the way.
God bless friends. And thank you for being so brave to share your story
Prayers and wishing you a positive outcome for you and your wife.🙏🙏💙💙
You sweet girl. I’m seeing this 6 months late but praying for you and Alessio all the time.
❤Congratulations on a successful surgery 🎉. I’m so glad it went well. But I’m sorry that you’re going through so very much. Thank you for sharing this. I also have Endometriosis. It has certainly made a big impact on my life and health. May God bless you both as He guides your steps.
You two are beautiful. Prayers for all the best outcomes. ❤❤❤
