It’s nice to see Haley & Leyton dressed up like the 80’s! This Celica has made a spectacular spot during that time. Toyota sure does make good vehicles. And good thing it was a manual transmission car. Great job, Haley & Leyton!
If only they were listening to an 80’s track in the beginning of the video!
I couldn't have said it better myself! Most def!
Thank you!! We had a lot of fun with this one, Toyota does make quite a reliable car. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Word!
Nice tennis shoes
I think Leyton and Haley have found their niche reviewing the older autos! I love hearing their reactions to the features of the cars from before their time! Great job👍
Brilliantly trained. Refreshing. Did enjoy this video. Even before my time 77 born. Think was gen4 or gen5 my era.
Great Job Ladies, amazing car from the 80s......true survivor, exceptional Celica
...WOW, BEATIFULL CAR, I LOVE HIM...A CLASSIC CAR, CONGRATULATIONS FROM COSTA RICA.
I have owned 2 of these cars and they were fantastic cars. I ended up driving both to the scrapyard because although the body were almost rusted off of them, they still ran like Swiss watches. An amazing find to obtain one in that condition. I don't know how you do it. Nice job!
It's crazy how great condition this one is in! Glad you were able to enjoy a few yourself. Thanks for the comment!
I have an 84 with 377,000 miles and still runs like a champ. I love my celica
Listen to that hood close, like music to my ears 🎶, they don't make them like that anymore! What an excellent original example.
I can't decide which I like better, Haley's 80s tennis socks or Leyton's no socks...either way, those are 2 lucky pairs of sneakers;)
Ha Ha
@@AutohausofNaples 😊🤗Thank You for that!! And PLEASE may i send again to both of You?
I had one of these with a body kit ,and big stereo, for 10 years, best car ever ,I really miss that car.
Lots of respect for you guys learning how to drive a stick shift.
It really is a time machine ✅
You two look great in the 80's Celica. That's very cool that you know how to drive a manual transmission.
Aw thank you! This might be one of our favorites!
"Where two is better than one"
Yes I would agree
Love the retro look. You babes are rad!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed
I have a 83, currently building it, and yeah, rust is mad common especially for a northern car, but I love my gts fast back!
This was great I loved how they co -ordinated their unfits with the car they were reviewing ! Great video !
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed, we appreciate the comment!
very happy to see you again girls and good morning to the autohaus of naples team. orhan wahib.
Thanks for watching!
This is the car im going to base the restoration of the celica i might buy. Its the same year and everything!!! Thanks for the vid!!!
Loved that fun car! Looks to be in very nice condition. Great job girls love the 80's wear it was 80's spot on!
Thanks for watching our channel, much appreciated
Had one in the 90's. Beautiful car to drive. But rust rust rust... But so much fun. :) I miss it so.
This car is a LEGEND!
One of the most amazing cars made by Toyota......and the girl had serious difficulties with the clutch......but it was a beautiful video!
Couldn't agree more! We were stoked to find a Celica in such great condition as well. Thanks for watching!!
@@AutohausofNaples But Hailey's driven standard before, not a novice?
I had one of those '84 GTs I bought new with the coupe styling. It was midnight blue, 5-Speed with cruise. I drove the absolute hell out of it. It was THE LEAST reliable of all the six Toyotas I've owned. But it was fun. My 2010 Prius would outrun it, but hey, it looked cool. I kept it for 11 years and traded it on a used Cressida. Favorite Celica memory: waking up in the passenger seat as my wife got pulled over in Virginia for doing 84MPH in a 55MPH zone... She had no idea she was going that fast. It was so smooth...
Now that was pretty cool. I love how you two were dressed like the 80’s. Don’t feel bad Hailey I have stalled out like that before. The toll one was the best. Great job ladies as always! 💯💯💯
Haha glad I'm not the only one! Still felt pretty embarrassing, wish Leyton would have caught the whole ordeal on video! Thanks for watching
@@AutohausofNaples Mmm, on second thought, you sure you didn't stall out from engine trouble? Strange you took two minutes to get the car started - normally shouldn't happen if you missed a shift and stalled.
You both are great fun. Its like watching SNL. Thanks great job
Thank You! We appreciate yall for watching and making comments;)
Nice sound car Haley et Leyton ! Nice video and very good shoot
Thank you, it sounds so great we love it!
My first car was a 1982 Celica ST lift back manual (European spec) when I was 19. I swapped out the pop forward head lights for the pop up ones like on this car. Modified the bonnet (hood) so they worked. Mine was black with black interior (purple sheen from the sun). Different steering wheel but the big fold up ash tray was the same and slider controls for air vents. Rust was a real headache with both rear inner wings (fenders) needing to be replaced. Hatch back rear rusted through but got a used one to replace the poorly bondo filled original previous owner did. Engine was rebuilt after poor previous maintenance cause a con rod to buckle as oil was sludgy. Engine was lower half cast iron from a Mercedes with a Toyota aluminium top half. Massive gearbox as it was the same as the Supra from the bulkhead to the rear. Good examples here going for £30 to £40k.
This one was special, the owner is so happy. He drove it home from Florida to Delaware!!!
The first car I owned. Loved it. Wish I could find one in good condition
cool car! love the louvers on the rear deck lid!
Sigh...I had this car's twin in my 20s. In my 50s now and its still my favorite of all the cars I've driven
That pink floyd shirt is BADASS!!!
These videos are great! Thanks ladies!
Our pleasure!
Another interesting vehicle being reviewed. Both Leyton & Haley are doing fine with their interesting reviews.Great watching you both.
Thank you so much for watching and supporting!
Japanese cars from the 80's are really cool.
I love them too!
They are really special, we love them! Thanks for watching!
That ANSA Exhaust sound good on this well kept car
You're absolutely right. Nice sound for a beautiful car!
Wow I was 2 years old when this car came out the ladies look so cute 😍 this car is a classic in such emaculate condition
Ands it's in immaculate condition!
80s car, 80s rock n roll and the ladies even have an 80s look with the hair and clothing ❤👍🏾👍🏾
A true 80s car, takes you back in time! Thanks for watching!
So clean and well kept nice!!! 🇺🇲🤘🤘🤘
Haha i looovvveee this car...the perfect year with BBS wheels and Yokohama tires!!! Haha yes!! Nice
I played a drinking game while watching this. I drank every time they said "super". I'm completely faced now.
Glad you enjoyed the video and drinks ;)
Been having it since 1991!
Its an amazing Toyota, sold 2 weeks ago
That is super mint, the wheels are far better than the honestly awful stocks. Not exactly recommending it, but a cool lil mama used to give me a ride in one of those, and only used clutch for 1st or reverse, she would just let off the gas enough to hear a difference, and would shift up. Her fam that taught her swore by this, and never heel-toe, coast whenever you can. The syncs slow the main shaft just as much as the clutch release letting it wind down from engine rpm. It is a disaster if you moneyshift tho.
I gotta hit the clutch, it is hard wired from my h-pattern senseis.
Oh yeah the BBS three piece wheels are awesome. What a nice nostalgic story! Thanks for commenting!
Greetings Ladies!
Thanks for sharing this review of the Celica, a time machine for sure. The steering wheel says it all, as it is reminiscent of Cressidas from that time. If I was to make a guess, I’d say the clutch has a rather high bite point which would explain some of the difficulty Haley was experiencing with it. Other than that, it is a wonderful preservation of vehicle history from a fun time indeed. Your outfits are a nice complement to that theme and you both look great in them.👊😎🌴🇺🇸
Wow thank you for your comment! It really is a beautiful car, we love our time machine cars. Thanks for watching! Good to know on the clutch, other than the one incident we were cruising just fine haha!
'80s car, '80s gear, '80s sounds? Can't beat it!
No kidding! Bring it back haha
5th Gen Toyota is goated.
Lovely
Thanks for watching!
1988 Mercedes 560SEL coming next week.....80s week
You ladies are gonna be Scotty Kilmer’ favorite Chanel 😂
Thank You!
I just bought one of these a few months ago and it's definitely not in as good of condition on the outside but the engine is absolutely mint. Mine is the automatic version though
Put it neutral when you are going to stop and just use your breaks.
Girls dressed like the 80s yeah ! $18,900. ! SUPER price ! AC/DC music from 1984 , are You near an airport? .
80s was MTV , Sony walkman , Madonna was "like a virgin" , cell phone came with a small suit case , Haley and Leyton Superstar!
Thank you so much, we appreciate your comments and watching our channel
Seems like some folks think this is a foot fetish channel. Indeed many of us miss the other gals and how they often dissed the shoes with Camera Guy getting close-ups. These two lovely ladies may not be into that, which is perfectly fine! Anyway..wow...that was quite a little damsel in distress moment at that stoplight! Sorry it happened. Yeah imagine if that was caught on camera. lol Oh yes I'll always love 80's music too. I'm into 70's abit more but it's close. Great stuff Haley and Leyton. You two are coming into your own here and it's awesome.
If only we pulled the camera back out amid the chaos! Thank you for watching and supporting!
Would have liked to have seen the stall-out part, but don't feel too bad. It happens when you're not used to driving stick. I stalled about 30 times trying to start from stand-still at the crest of a hill my second time driving stick.
That said, this is such a great condition for an 80s car. I could buy it and collect it in a museum.
WOW! That car must have been kept in a sealed bottle or something, it is in Museum-quality condition!
Now, that is what I call a blast from the past!
It truly is! Thank you for watching!
You're both welcome!
Cool presentation and cool that you can drive a stick! But keep your foot off the clutch while the car sits, if that's what you're doing. Otherwise you'll wear it out prematurely.
I had an 82, I lived in NY, so it had no chance to survive this long
I went to high school 1980 - 1984. 😲
Pretty hard to find girls these days that can drive a stick. Major respect👍
More barefoot and more pedal please......
OK you convinced me! I buy now! How much?!
Car is listed on our website www.AutoHausNaples.com $16,900
I'd test-drive a'85ST& GT Cpe &LB, but, I'd never owned one, because I couldn't afford it at the time.
Крутая тачка!😊
Keep fit windows and everything
Long enough to figure it out. That’s how you learn.
Perfecto 100%🙌🙏🤗
Thank you so much!
شكرا على الطرجمة 👍😍
Saw a silver one in town-Cybertruck borrowed the design.

Safety first, girls
Safety First!!!!
I love celica's this is actually basically a Supra
Yes, it's a GT, almost a Supra :)
@@AutohausofNaples that's Right and the Supra came out in 1982
Does it come with a flux capacitor? I’m lovin’ the 80’s clothes, ladies!
More 80s cars coming soon!
It's not a DeLorean
NICE CAR
Thank you!
when Toyota still have the "crotch vents" 😁
I thought GT trims had inline-6 engines and oh that's for Celica Supras
Rad👌
Thank you!
available? how much?
IS IT FOR SALE
Hilarious 🤣 about the stalling out the car. It happens.
It makes me feel old but it's always funny to hear youngsters talking about the music of my youth like if it was from another century... but wait...
I always feel unlucky because, for me, the 60's, 70's and 90's are great decades for music but not the 80's (some exception however, like Purple Rain, etc.). Mainly, I think 80's music was bad, especially in France where I grew up.
Something else, I thought Americans could only use automatic gears, you prove the opposite and you do it well. But never stay so long with the clutch pedal pressed like you do in 14:14, it could be dangerous on a wet roadway, under a rain, purple or not, if you'd have to do an emergency braking. It can be dangerous in a curve as well. And after you change gear, put your left foot on the floor, beside the pedal, not resting on the pedal or you'll wear out prematurely the clutch.
Thank you for the comment! Will definitely keep your advice in mind regarding the clutch. I would also say majority of our younger generations only know how to drive automatic. Thanks again for watching!!
Can you make a video of toyota rav4 xle premium 2020 pearl white color vehicle the safety features of the toyota? I love your video tutorial of vehicle detail how they use. I subscribe your video.
great review girls top
Thank you sooooooo much
Just FYI, never look at the gear stick while driving.
Please take your own advice two is better than one

Hand shacker. Hand shifter ? US for Manual ?
We usually called them "stick shifts", when they were common in the US, but beginning with the common use of built in car cell phones, in the early 1990's, plus an extended period of low fuel prices in the US caused a switchover to almost exclusively automatic transmissions in the US. In fact, manual transmissions are rare enough now in the US, that nearly no one, under 40 years old, knows how to drive them, except these two girls (kudos to them for learning, btw!), a few mechanucs, and a few car hobbyists.
X Gen & older can usually drive stick shift, aka: straight shuft, but they usually don't buy them, because modern automatic transmissions have about the same fuel efficiency as manual transmissions.
I think, that the girls sort of semi-coined their own term, "hand shift", since they're rare enough, to not be in the common venacular outside of the car collector/hobbyist world. They haven't been around it long enough to know all the official "slang" terms.
@@sparky6086 Yes driving Stick knew, I know many a US citizen struggles with them
Next time the girls Test drive a Delorian lol 🤣🤣
Put in neutral and slowly press the breaks
Nice girls and conservatively dressed. Good to see this day and age.
Frankie goes to Hollywood Relax 🤣
Eh, yes, played ac/dc in my Celica GT-S many times.
You too remind me of Cyndi Lauper and bananarama combination Girls just want to have fun and non cruel summer oh by the way you too should've both of your beautiful hair pumped and permed style
We will have to do a perm for the next 80's car haha! Thanks for the comment!!
@@AutohausofNaples You're welcome they are so much fun totally a lot
It won't turn off on you and you rest your left foot.
As cute and ditzy as these ladies can sound at times, it seems they really do know something about cars. And not only because Peter has coached them on each car before they make the videos. Very impressive, and sexy!
Thank you so much, appreciate the support!
Why are you girls driving the same car as my mom
