Thank you Rollen! In her introduction Lara explains that she loved, when she was little, when her dad took her to see Walt Disney cartoons. Unfortunately her dad always fell asleep during the session and if she identified with the characters, her real hero was her dad. Then later, she wanted to take her dad to see another cartoon, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and so that he wouldn't fall asleep, she sang the song from the movie... As an anecdote, in French-speaking Canada, it was Lara who did the voice of Esmeralda in the cartoon. As for the Medley from the movie Yentel, Barbra never did the 2 songs in a row in her concerts (Papa can you hear me and Piece of sky), it's a very beautiful melodramatic film that won Oscars. Many reactors say that Lara surpasses Barbra Streisand in her interpretation, in any case Barbra is one of Lara's idols. And then here is the link to the song that is missing between the second and third video of the concert. She said she used to watch Disney movies in cinema with her father who used to fall asleep... She wanted to identify herself to some hero and realized later as a grown up that her only hero she looked alike and she wanted to look alike was her father.
Later she brought her father to watch the "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in a big movie theater and made him swear to not fall asleep. Lara played the role of Esmeralda and also performed the main theme

About Yentl, she watched the movie when she was 16. At the end of the movie she said she was found atomized, nuclearized. She told to herself than one day she will sing these songs too.

You should definitely watch Yentl it's a classic in the musical genre for sure. if you want to hear the song just get it from the movie soundtrack should be widely available
I've got to give Laura credit for covering Streisand Tunes and slaying it. she is incredible but that said you will hear the difference listening to Streisand.
when it comes to a direct comparison - I wouldn't even do it. Laura is OBVIOUSLY vastly talented but I was thinking to myself during the song that she is being held back by the ARRANGEMENT.
Of course Streisand has a huge body of work but I think she's got like 19 or 20 Musical movies and there are many great songs in them but as a matter of culture if you have never seen Hello Dolly you should watch that also
