U can but keep in mind u will do less on hit damage, the animation in 3rd person is not actually synced up with the drawback of the arrow ,but it doesn't matter too much with fire arrows ig

RUclipsrs are saying it's a bug but the devs said in patch notes that this is intended.

It needs to get nerfed, my auto axe is doing 6x more dmg than it should just because of the dot change

Try the flaming arrows with two shot, you get more damage.

With the new crafting system. you can have 2+ different bows with the same legendary mods but with different arrow effects.

you should try explosive gauss shotgun. Ive read it counteracts the nerf to it

flame AOE is working again too for AOE tagging, for along time it was broke and u got no AOE damage XP but now its workiing again

Just tried this with AA VHC 25 on the normal bow and it's way too fun , a true sniper ... thanks for this upload

Splash damage will work against yourself too.

As an archer, I love the bow buffs. They really needed it and are now competitive with other weapons.
Other weapons are still better, granted, but bows can hold their own at least with these changes...all they need to do now is fix the phantom draw bug that happens with bows and me and the rest of the bow hunters will be sitting pretty.

Poison arrow/explosive legendary is NASTY. AOE poison!
Also instigating/last round is another solid new bow!

Yeah I was thinking Aristocrat isn't the best. Instigating or Bloodied have to perform better..

Have you had any issues with Poison arrows and damage to yourself even if you have Funky duds? My character was constantly killing itself, went back to flaming and don’t have the issue.

Why does it seem that the impact damage should have killed a low level enemy but the health bar waits for the dot to count down before the kill happens?

3:16 improved health bars. What you're seeing is that you will be able to kill. Just have to wait for the DOT to tick

The grayed out health is their actual health. The other health bar that is what their health will be after the dot finished.

What's the point of keeping poison damage if most creatures are immune to it?

Robots are the only thing that are immune. Many creatures do have high resistance though.

It means immunity to that type of damage.

Nope. You can get quad. It just doesn't do anything.
