  • On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, young people from different countries declare: "We have a say in German Development Cooperation. Let's act!" Language and origin of the young people were different, but the aim was the same: to strengthen children's rights in Development Cooperation! On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development the GIZ sector programme "Human Rights / Children's Rights" organised the international youth workshop "We have a say in German Development Cooperation!" on 27 and 28 November 2019 in Berlin. 18 young people from Indonesia, Guatemala, Lesotho, Lebanon, Madagascar, Peru, the Palestinian Territories, Rwanda and Germany took part in the workshop in Berlin and were accompanied by staff from GIZ and partner organisations.
