The Maritime Army of the Syailendra Dynasty, consisting of Javanese (Medang Kingdom) and Sumatran/Malay (Sriwijaya-Svarnadvipa) and local pirates such as Orang Laut, invaded Zanzibar for the slave trade. It is not surprising that there are many large temples on the island of Java because they employed black people for royal projects. In addition, they are employed to open agricultural land en masse and porters from the hinterland to the coast. No wonder Java now has so much agricultural land & a large population. The black people who were employed in the Syailendra area included from Jenggi (the name for Zanzibar, Africa), Pujut (the name for the Australian Aboriginal region), & Kwanin (Papuan people). Besides that, it is very likely that Madagascar became a colony of the Syailendra people, considering that Madagascar's culture is very different from Africa in general. There is DNA research that there may be 30 women from Indonesia who landed in Madagascar around 800 AD. 800 AD was the years of incessant attacks by Javanese-Malay fleets in Southeast Asia. The oldest inscription in the Philippines, the Laguna Inscription, contains a Tumenggung from the Medang Kingdom of Java granting forgiveness of debt payments by the ruler of Tundun (present-day Tondo). What's interesting is that this inscription is in ancient Javanese-Tagalog. This history is rarely discussed by western historians who are oriented towards the Mediterranean-Europe-Middle East
Malaysia actually glorifies the Sultanate of Melaka more than Sriwijaya. The Sultanate of Melaka is more representative of modern Malaysia, where the opinion of Malays must be Islam & this is more in line with Malaysian thinking. On the other hand, Indonesia highly upholds Sriwijaya, because the Sriwijaya Empire is multi-ethnic in nature, Indian culture, both the Srivijaya Kingdom in Sumatra, the Medang Kingdom in Java, and the Warmadewa dynasty in Bali, have strong ties as fellow Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms. The Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia had a major influence on the progress of classical Indonesian civilization, even during the Islamic period, none could match their ancestors. The island of Bali with its unique culture, known throughout the world, is the remnants of ancient Indonesian civilization heritage that are still sustainable. On the other hand, Malaysia is still stuck and cannot accept the fact that the big kingdoms used to adhere to Buddhism & Hinduism, not Islam. That is why in the Malaysian curriculum there is an attempt to twist history like the King of Srivijaya, Sri Indrawarman, who embraced Islam. This is an inconsequential fit for the political interests of Malay Supremacy in Malaysia. They also often twist Indonesian histories to suit Malay-Islam, the way they ethnicize/Melaynize is an act that is academically unacceptable & Indonesians' self-esteem

Greating from Nakorn si thammarat or Ligor.
모잠비크까지 진출할려고 시도했다는건 처음 알았네요.
