System of A down was a big influence when I started playing guitar and learning their discography taught me so many things.
Their madness, their raw sound (in the first albums) and later on mature song writing, melodies and crazy singing taught me so much.
So without question I felt the need to cover "Genocidal Humanoidz" straight away.
Please go support their fundraiser but also make yourself aware of what's happening to the Armenian people.
These past years have been horrible to all of us.
But that's no reason to stop doing what we love and keeping our heads straight on what we wish to accomplish.
For me making more music is crucial more than ever !

Well, imo "genocidal humanoidz" has a bit of that SOAD anger going on but it's not as crazy as their first albums. The song is much more fun to play than to listen. As for the other song, I didn't pay too much attention to be honest...
I'm still a big fan of their first albums, they were raw, crazy & different.
It's still good that a band changes and matures but I believe we need more "new" songs (or even bands) with vibes from that era of anger, revolution etc..
