So the piece that holds the clutch cable in place under my carburetor broke, so I ran the clutch cable through one of the holes of the clutch cover, works fine now
I drilled and tapped the exhaust bolt holes out to a 3/8 bolt because they pulled out with the slightest bump... the bigger bolts added more surface for the threads so even tho the chinesium is soft its holding well
After my second stripped flower nut, I had finally had enough - cleaned the parts with acetone and gooped the whole biz with JB Weld, then adjusted the cable, works great.
Adding copper wire to make a wallowed out 6mm bolt that had broken and tapped wrong grab . It took a couple of tries due to too little or too much wire yet it worked so well I never left home without a little wire just in case .
My motorbicycle is finally put back together. The custom new wheel took me all day to do handmade I made sure to grease my bearings and adjust the cone nuts and axle just perfect, I installed a 16T freewheel on the threaded steel hub with some copper antisieze so I have the nicest gear ratio for hill climbing and the rest of the time I just throttle and coast. I have one issue, I substituted the cotter pin on my #415 drive chain using a piece of paperclip, I hope it won’t snap off or I’d get stranded. If my tire goes flat, I will file the spoke ends a little more and use fresh rim tape and see if I can find a new 25C tire that has slightly more tread than my favorite verdenstine blue sided 700X25C foldable road tires
As i was building an engine using strictly old used parts from about 3 different motors, i realized i did not have a base gasket. So using an old tore up one as a template i transfered the pattern onto an old betty crocker cake mix box. Smeared a little high temp rtv on both sides and it held up fine for many miles. Other things eventually failed over time, but my cake box gasket held strong
I tried making some gaskets out of an aluminum sheet I had laying around and sucked at it. I dunno why but I couldn't drill the holes out properly spaced/located despite tracing as best as possible.
Good video man, and great to see you got what you wanted. Low to med range, that is what im looking for as well. On trails you dont need speed on a pedal bike, lol. Front and rear suspension has its advantages and one day i hope to have rear suspension, i get all shook up lol . Ride safe.
With an iron bore you need to use chrome rings. The minerelli 47mm piston should work alright with a few modifications. With a steel sleeve, you can use the stock rings just fine however I'm going to try the minerelli piston since chrome rings should work alright with steel bores
La hover bikes my first build was a 49cc and the cheap nt carburetor was leaking from the prime button and it melted from the gas. The prime button melted and fell out. So I used a syringe cap off of a needle for the fix it fitted in the hole perfect and no more leaks until my jug cracked in the intake port and I junked the engine. .
hey sorry if I missed it but do you have information of how exactly your ports are set up after you did your port work? I just ordered the same cylinder and I'm wanting to do a similar set up as you have done. thanks for the great content
I STILL use a front rim in back. Started with 48 spoke 29er and didn't tighten the rag joint tight enough and broke nearly all the spokes on that side. Now I push start it...but it goes.
Seems like your left side rear sprocket is now out of concentricity. I think that you could have easily just knocked the stud holes through and set the studs in red locktite or Green shaft locker if you're not to attached to removing the studs later.
If you have access to a tig or mig welder, you should make your own expansion chamber. If you do some looking around on the forums you should find some plans for them, or you can use an expansion chamber calculator
70%PP / 30%DarkAlum and a pinch of titanium sponge. Made a few and had fun with them just to say I could :) but they always made me nervous so I got out of it. Stay safe!
When I first got the motorised bike I accidentally cracked the head by tightening bolts to tight so I put 44mm big bore kit head off a minimoto had to drill holes out to fit took off the head gasket and it’s been running ever since I’ve been surprised but need new head cause it has less see face area than stock
You should have stuffed the crankcase while you were in there higher primary compression I think is what they call it or case compression will definitely give you torque
one workaround I did in my bt100 was using a 27mm to 30mm seat post adapter to adapt an 27mm crank seal to 30mm hehe. It still had a small gap I filled with heat-tolerant glue. It works but depending the 2 stroke oil I use it still leaks the mix to the clutch chamber :/
Ok, so I had the little pin that holds the clutch release arm in place on the cover break,, the release arm popped out of the cover, so effectively had no clutch, Had to get home some how,, Took cover off , found a piece of coat hanger and cut a bit, put the release arm in place and jammed the piece of hanger in far enough to hold the arm. It worked until the cover cracked at the jammed pin, so I kept my left foot on top of the arm stopping it from popping out to get home
P.S. it's hard to help you when you don't take the time to structure a descriptive comment... If you make people guess what you are asking you might get bad answers.
Hey! I got a cheap kit from Amazon called a Seeutek kit. It didn't start, while having spark and compression, but we weren't sure about the carb. Do you have any advice?
The jankyest thing I ever did was cut an intake manifold gasket out of cardboard. The sort you'd find from a slab of cans. I'm telling you, it worked! Held up for a couple hundred k's too
Check out a product called Alumiweld & videos on it....It allows you to "weld" (more like soldering aluminum on steroids) aluminum with nothing but the rods, a clean stainless steel wire brush and a propane torch. It takes a bit to get the hang of how to direct the torch heat for proper adhesion but when done right, the welded area will be stronger or just as strong as the aluminum. Harbor Freight sells them under a different name, or make friends with someone who has an aluminum MIG or TIG welder. But if JB weld will work then that's awesome. I seen HF (years ago, dunno if they still do) had a JB weld like 2 part mix that was made specifically for aluminum parts.
These makers really need to return these engines back to the old school Schnuerle port standards of the originals. Their full circle cranks and increased porting doesn't help the low RPM take off, having cutouts for the counterweights instead of drilling the crank circles, and keeping the porting conservative, like DKW or SAAB's old 2 strokers, increase the stroke to 43mm and keep the displacement low with a 37mm piston. Then these engines would pull great from below 2500rpm.
really big firecrackers, here in Sweden there have been more and more bans since the 80s and until now, there are mostly fireworks that give color without popping loudly. boring.
Unfortunately, there is a common phrases in Chinese - "Tsa Bu Duo", which means "close enough". That reflects the quality of many products that comes out of China. I would say that many products don't even meet "close enough" standard because they are substandard. This is why building just fall over after a few years in China. I love the energy in this one

Hi Jb welded a intake manifold together pieces of flashlight make an intake tube for 32 mm carburetor and it worked just fine
Sing the praises of JB brother!
My god ball bearings under the studs! I need to look back where this kit came from.
Too bad we can't eliminate the whole "made in china" part! Be nice to see a mass produced American 2 stroke version!
I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I drilled and tapped the exhaust bolt holes out to a 3/8 bolt because they pulled out with the slightest bump... the bigger bolts added more surface for the threads so even tho the chinesium is soft its holding well

Nice video 🚲💨💨💨💨 and one more thing you sure can take a two-stroke motor apart well done 💪💪💨💨💨🤙👍💯

I WANNA SEE THE 4-STROKE BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so this was the "golden" amazon kit. do you think if i order one now, it will still have these issues?
Hard to say. I noticed there was only one option when we ordered the first, but when I ordered this one there was two.
Ok, so I had the little pin that holds the clutch release arm in place on the cover break,, the release arm popped out of the cover, so effectively had no clutch,

Hi..
Can someone tell me how to punch back on the two bearings in place easy?
The crank bearings? Put them in the freezer for a hour, heat the case on low in the oven for 10-15 mins. The bearings should drop right in...
P.S. it's hard to help you when you don't take the time to structure a descriptive comment... If you make people guess what you are asking you might get bad answers.

Hey! I got a cheap kit from Amazon called a Seeutek kit. It didn't start, while having spark and compression, but we weren't sure about the carb. Do you have any advice?
The seeutek is a pretty good motor. Not the best but good. Is the clutch engaging?
Also are all the wires connected properly? Is it getting fuel? Check the inside of the carb for any issues.
@@yzstormer I flipped the wires and it instantly came to life! Thanks for the advice.
@@Guphy No problem! Yeah sometimes the colors are flipped. My Seeutek motor had no problems so I was lucky!. Happy riding!
Did the big bore kit come stock on 100cc?
The yd-100 has a 50mm piston. So slightly bigger than this kit.
The puns 😂😂😂😂

if you can jett a 28 mm carb like i was able too, you will get more torque then you can imagine, but beware the bike will be insanely loud
