what connectors are down there , would it be possible to install a single din bluetooth radio instead ? dont care about the radio part only to have bluetooth music .. thx!
Now, can I put a regular single din deck in it's place so that I can have one that has an aux input (since my audi is an 07, it doesn't have one and I don't wanna spend $5-600 on a whole new main deck....I just want the damn aux plug). But I'm not sure if the information will relay between the main deck and the one in the glove box since it's used to just reading CD info. Any input on this would be very helpful. Thanks.

Just use a blue tooth phone charger they sound great and cost 15 bucks on amazon
can a standard single din aftermarket car stereo be mounted into that location asa= an anti theft/public view measure considering fascia and knob extrusion. for the purposes of a stand alone sound system install?. thanks even if it means getting the holesaw out and cutting into the inside of glove compartment door.
Interesting question! I'd say not as I think (purely from memory) that the changer is a little narrower than a single din stereo. I may be wrong on that, but from memory seems that way!

Just wondering if there's a different glovebox interior that I don't have? I've purchased a 6 Disc changer for my A4 B7 and the interior of my glovebox does not have the space as shown in the video. Cheers.
Yes, there are different versions. There is a cooler box version also. Best bet is to pick up a used one on eBay to save some money. Hope that helps!
can we replace the cd player with apple carplay dongle?

The unit could be faulty. It owuld be worth trying a CD head cleaner first, just in case the head is dirty. If that does not work, next stage would be a new unit. Try eBay for a used one to save a LOT of money. But try the CD head cleaner first for sure - nothing to lose! Best of luck!

Hey there! That would be quite involved and way beyond what I could type here :-)
It depends on whether you are replacing the head unit, or keeping the factory one. I'd recommend doing some Google research on that and getting some advice for the various Audi forums as it's quite an open-ended question as can be done several ways.
