This game looks fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the playthrough. Looking back, I'm shocked at how detailed the graphics were and the accuracy of the mechanics. I appreciate that the guns' real names were used and the story was entertaining. I could see the influence of Hitman, GTA, Splinter Cell, and a little 007.
_This game has driving._ I was so surprised that I thought the game had bugged. In the final mission there is a section where you drive a car with a gunner on it for about 30 seconds. and you have full control of the vehicle, and the gunner on the back has advanced stabilization, _and that's the only time in the whole game where you can drive a car._ It's absolutely criminal. For people who like this game and _Mafia_ you should absolutely play _Hidden and Dangerous 2,_ because it's essentially this game but much improved in all aspects, with a RTS control system if you so choose. The Lone Wolf campaign is essentially the same as this game but better. Same engine.
Some people speculate it's because in Chapter 11 it showcases the Israeli-Lebanese conflict and you kill Israeli soldiers. But in my opinion it's because the studio Silver Wish Games shut down in 2005 and the publisher didn't want to spend any more money.

Truly this game could’ve been set in the same universe as mafia city of lost heaven. Prior to mafia 2 game that can expand and retcon bits of the game itself. And maybe it ain’t just the graphics. But the vibe of the game itself. It feels like it’s spiritually a sequel to mafia city of lost heaven.

the amount of work they did for the big levels was amazing for the time, Belfast, Baltimore, Moldova, Albania, Beirut etc. reminds me of the hub areas in Deus Ex and Bloodlines. And to think they completed this game in 2003
I like that, in comparison to Hitman, there's no invasive HUD and multi-level map to tamper with, seeing through walls and following a red dot which is actually the target. It seems intuitive, you play the level as it is. Wonder what's your opinion on the game.

very nice seeing a game based in ireland especially donegal, but oh my god the accents were awful, the lads in belfast were terrible i dont even know what they were going for to be honest the woman in the farm in donegal had a strong cork accent, in donegal ahahahaahaha nevertheless its cool, we rarely get games based in ireland

I will make an in-depth review in the future. The story is weak but the gameplay and atmosphere are solid.
personally I had the impression that this game was more like Splinter Cell, because of the same type of "light bar"
That's only in the newer games and the harder difficulty lets you turn it off. The older hitman games didn't have these features too.
