GODZBOX Godzilla Figure
Glad you're starting to collect Hiya Toys Kaiju figures. Hiya's Godzilla is one of the best Godzilla toys around.

I have this figure, and I'm having fun with it. The articulation is much more limited than the SH Monsterarts Godzilla KOTM figure, but it's enough for basic Godzilla poses. In fact, it's much more movie accurate than the SH Monsterarts version. However, parts of the joints on the tail are super stiff, and prevents the tail from bending even further. Also, some of the dorsal plates are bent out of the box. I've tried using the hairdryer method and then putting them into cold water, but they keep going back to being bent.
I decided to find out why my copy is stiff on some joints on the tail, and I found that some of the dumbbell joints were superglued to the sockets, which shocked me to be honest. I had to gently, but firmly free those dumbbell joints, so that they can move on their sockets. Now the tail is able to do more natural curves. So, for those of you who have a copy of this figure and have stiff tail joints, check if the dumbbell joints have been superglued to the sockets

Exempt I had to wait 3 and a half weeks for it…
Really good fantastic figure, my only issues is the paint on the eyes and chest but other than that, fantastic. A solid 7/10 or 8/10. But I'll rather wait for the burning godzilla version and the upgraded godzilla 2021

@@Sharky_Dragon Both have the same sculpt. The KOTM version has a lighter paint application, while the updated GvK figure uses a more subdued paint application

From my understanding Hiya is rereleasing their Godzilla figures, but with some improvements from the feedback they recieved
There's already a Godzilla out, Godzilla vs Kong version. This one is the King of the Monsters version. This new figure improves the neck area of the previous iteration, but it did a poor job on the eye paint. There are videos comparing both versions
@@OMGSYMU Personally, I'm not too bothered with the eye paint since they're so tiny that you won't really notice them

I'm so confused, I've been looking to buy one of these online here In UK and it says they're not releasing until late this year or early next.

If I get one and his eyes are bad and so is his teeth. Im repainting the teeth to a bone cream color and his eyes too and also Im satin black to his claws and toe claws which HIYA refused to paint for some reason XD!
Or....just get the gvk version which has better eyes and teeth

@@somedudewhodraws9377 you do realize there's a upgraded version of the hiya gvk godzilla with a improved jaw and neck right?
@@Kaiju-bm4ts yes I saw it and hes supposedly releasing alongside this Goji too I heard sometime in August. From what I know they kept the body sculpt the same but changed the paint and neck and head. I hope they add something on the Box saying like Updated Version or Reissue.
