    Can the spinning plate be removed for cleaning? You can see in your video how leaves, etc., could end up underneath the plate potentially fouling the bearings? It looks like an upward turned lip would be an improvement like many sleds have.

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it can be taken off but all you have to do is flip it on its side if you get leaves under it

    Good review. I have a Spud, Inc. belt I use for belt squats - do you feel that its usable for this sled? also, any recommendations or can you provide a link to a strap? Thanks!

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  9 месяцев назад +2

      If it’s for belt squats, it’s probably too short to use for a sled.
      I have this strap shreddeddad.com/mrinfinitysledstrap
      You can also look here on Amazon amzn.to/3KA5vmf

    Can I add the plastic skids like u do on other sleds to use it on concrete?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  3 месяца назад +1

      There’s no holes on the bottom to bolt plastic skiis to it unless you know of another way to do it

    Sorry to high-jack the video with a non sled question but what is holding your SSB in place against the wall?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  9 месяцев назад

      It’s a tool holder. It just keeps it from moving sideways. The SSB is touching the floor

    Nice video as always. I wanted to ask you a question not relatable to this video. Any medicine ball brands you recommend? I got some med ball slams at Walmart during covid and true what they say cheap does not always mean better. The warranty sucked and they basically went from looking like regular med balls to big medium hockey pucks.

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  9 месяцев назад +1

      AbMat sells a 20 lbs slam ball that’s indestructible. What weight are you looking for?

    • @johnnygunzfilmbuff7821
      @johnnygunzfilmbuff7821 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@ShreddedDad 15-20 pounds. I have a 30 pounder same as the Walmart brand never used because of how I hate the way it was made cheaply.

      @@ShreddedDad just read your article little pricey med ball but seems worth the price. Hopefully they can make more with little higher weight like 25 up to 50.

      Got it. I'm guessing any strap should be sufficent then. How are you liking the sled so far? Any concerns now that you've had a few months to use it?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  3 месяца назад +1

      @joshua6446 yeah any strap works. It’s solid, I’ve had no issues and works like it should

    • @joshua6446
      @joshua6446 3 месяца назад +1

      What surface do you mostly use it on? Worried if I use it on concrete more frequently than grass that it might wear out faster. Have you ever used this in the rain?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  3 месяца назад +1

      Mostly concrete. It’s thick heavy duty steel. It won’t wear out. I haven’t used it in rain but it should work as long as you can keep your footing

  • @BrassPeace
    @BrassPeace 9 месяцев назад +1

    What's your weight record for that sled?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  9 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t really load it up too much. I try to let my legs do most of the work so I don’t need much weight versus having my body weight lean into it.

  • @GeneAuyeung
    @GeneAuyeung 9 месяцев назад +1

    How loud is it on concrete?

    • @ShreddedDad
      @ShreddedDad  9 месяцев назад

      It’s metal on concrete so it can be loud. It’s not terribly loud.
      If you’re on Instagram I can send you a short clip showing you how it sounds on concrete
