I wasn't sure I wanted to get one of these until I watched your video, now I am sure. Excellent instruction, I don't know your background but you sound like a military instructor. Generally they're very knowledgeable and know what they're talking about backward and forward.
@@Nickolas_1892 not military but I’m glad the video was helpful 👊
You did a fantastic and thorough job on this review! Mine is scheduled to arrive today and I can't wait. Your video will be indispensable when I set it up and start using it. Thanks again!
Glad it was helpful!
This is on my radar. Hoping they come out with a version where the power tower is either adjustable or removable. Great review!!
They actually just came out with that option where you can choose to have it with or without a power tower
@@ShreddedDad thanks for the heads up. Do you happen to know if a version where the lat tower is adjustable (ie able to make it shorter) is in development? That would be perfect!
@@123.MikeCheck We don't have plans to make the tower adjustable at the moment. We want the unit to be as solid as possible for individuals who want the power tower + if someone is shorter, they can put the treadmill down and use that as their starting platform.
@@thetibbarguy thanks for the insight!
Heck of a review, man. Thanks!🙂
You bet 👊
incredible review, and what an awesome piece of equipment! really glad i found this channel
Thanks for watching 👊
3:41 thank you so much for explaining this. I was confused because I knew that number three was the hardest level but then on that one dial that goes up to seven it didn’t make sense. I love that it uses the pop pin so it’s so easy to change and you don’t have to unscrew anything. ❤
You’re welcome
Awesome review, thanks - I got my order placed!
You’re welcome 👊
Good review.
I've been keeping an eye on this.
Now they’ve made it where you have the option to get it without the power tower
Thank you for taking the time to go over this. Definitely on my list to get. Have you reviewed any of the tib bar training equipment?
You’re welcome and yes I have. Are you looking for any equipment in particular?
Thanks for the review. First time watching. I'm a DAWG's fan myself from Atlanta!
Woof woof!
How does this compare in resistance to something like the trekker 5000?
I’ve never used the Trekker 5000
My sled tread will be delivered tomorrow. You didn't say anything about the assembly process so I'm assuming it was quick and easy?
I did get mixed up a bit on the cable set up that’s connected to the dial and magnets on the right flywheel but aside from that everything is straight forward
Trying to shop for a treadmill as well for the wifey. Would this allow for her just to use as a walking treadmill for her since I want to use it for all the other components.
You can’t go hands free like a regular treadmill.
This is a manual treadmill that requires a little bit of counter force to get it moving
How granular are the resistance increments? I read one comment on Reddit saying it jumps from almost nothing to super hard.
There’s 21 settings in total so there’s lots of room to play with
How's the assembly? I was gonna put it in a room, and was wondering if it can be disassembled if I want to move it somewhere else.
It’s mainly the power tower portion but it’s not bad. If you don’t get the pull up bar even easier. But yeah not hard to disassemble.
@@ShreddedDad awesome, Im gonna get mine in a few days so looking forward to it.
Great informative video! I was wondering what the distance is between the dip bars? Thank you!
21” between the dip handles
@@ShreddedDad o wow that's perfect for me! I'll be sure to use your code, thank you for the review and reply! 💪
@Splices you bet 👊
Is it possible to hang Gymnastic rings from the tower?
They don’t recommend it but it is possible. What exercises did you wanna try with rings?
Very nice
👊
So you don’t hit your head whenever you are doing hip thrusts on it? it looks a little close lol
No i haven’t had an issue with that
Thanks for the feedback, it’s definitely not as good as a dedicated hip thrust machine but it works great as an alternative solution!
Can the pull up bar not setup if one doesn’t have the height clearance ?
They just added the option to buy just the sledtred without the power tower
Very versatile.
Yes it is
Thank you!
@@thetibbarguy 👍
How about using it as a rack for barbell benching? Would that work?
No that won’t work
@@ShreddedDad thanks!
They should just put a second knob for the other magnetic resistance.
Good suggestion
Hi, I have one delivered and assembled yesterday. My computer does not track. I dont have holder for the tracker (c), so where or how should I place or align this to make tracking functional? I can only set either of the 3 but it does not track at all. Hope for your response.
The tracker is below the treadmill belt
Contact the Tib Bar Guy here and they should be able to help you work this out ➡️ thetibbarguy.com/pages/support
Thanks for the response. I will see and try how to do it properly. Also, the tracker tip is pinched but somehow looks cracked when I received it, not sure if its the design. Im waiting for their response.
My tread keeps veering off to the side. How do I fix / stop that?
Are you talking about the belt? You can adjust the belt tightness at the foot of the deck. You’ll see a hole on each side for an Allen wrench
@@ShreddedDad I appreciate the reply! Yeah I was referring to The belt. So if my belt is veering off to the left side, does that mean I need to tighten that bolt on the left?
Yes
if the height of the pull up bar is adjustable then tis a real winner. My basement is only 84 inches so this will not work
It’s not adjustable but they have an option now where you can buy it without the pull up bar
@@ShreddedDad I saw that. I will probably wait for the version 2 if there is one where the pull up bar height is adjustable.
@TheGhu123 not sure if they have plans for that but that’d be a good option for low ceilings
Fyi, careful of the pull knobs, caveat, you may not be able to detach it as easily as in the video if you threaded it until it holds on to the bar, it makes the outer thread of the pull knob stick out of the holders ring/platform, so, it wont slide as easy if you dont loosen or align it back first
How difficult is the max setting for the average gym goer?
It’s supposed to mimic 300 lbs on a sled. It all depends on how you set up. If you set up high it feels very difficult but if you get low, it doesn’t feel too hard because you put your weight into it. When I get low I use it more for long distances
@@ShreddedDad Thanks. I'm deciding between this or an Exer-genie.
@jon.a Exergenie is nice and used by astronauts but…..this is for indoor use and is a Swiss army knife that does most of the ATG exercises. This could be your main piece in your gym if you don’t already have a rack also
I would like to have had some comments on the quality of the rolling fabric that your tear with shoes.. is it long lasting, or will it break down, with any spareparts, for the eu customor, who once payed a good amount for shipment, and two years later, it needs replaced. I know its perhaps not something to have knowledge on, but this is neverthe less what comes to me, because this piece is first and foremost indoor sled training. Also, the nordic curl footage, shows, the treamill kinda slide backwards as you go up, so it seems counter productive, and i wonder if the exercise can even actually work properly then, with multible reps… thanks for review.. i was looking for it.
Great questions. I was thinking maybe if there was a way to put something on it to make it more stable
I don’t know the durability of the belt but I’d imagine is similar to other manual treadmill belts.
With the belt set to the hardest setting it shouldn’t move during Nordics
Set the belt to the hardest setting
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching 🙏
First of all the cable that attaches to flywheel is impossible to hook up and secondly the pull out for the other flywheel is impossible to pull out basically don’t buy until all the initial issues are worked out with this product very frustrated with this piece of equipment so far just my opinion
Thank you so much. Been waiting on this one! ❤🦾🙏🏾
👊
