- Here it is everyone my newest ride a 2016 Ford Fusion SE fully loaded from Hight Ford in Skowhegan, Maine. Finally got the time to install some radio gear. Here we got a Uniden Bearcat 980SSB CB Mobile Radio with a RF Limited Xtreme 2018 Microphone hooked up to Sirio P5000 LED CB/10M Antenna & Sirio 145 Magnetic Mount. The 12' RG58 was replaced with 18' RG8X Davis RF coaxial cable with silver plated Teflon PL259 connector. Who says a CB radio can't look good in a modern ride! It is all about making the right choices, Bulldog 777.

Clean install for sure. Hard to find a spot to install radios in the cars and trucks built today. Bravo!

Bulldog777, I really enjoy your videos and thorough mobile antenna setups and the testing. It really is inspiring and recently obtained a predator 30k-plus but has the thick top not the whip. Having your knowledge to refer to has allowed me to understand and know how important the parts are that I come across. In fact today I received a 6 element radial to experiment with the predator and the 102 inch whip. Also found a nice cobra 2000 base $100. First knowledge First come first serve 😁. Both my mobile units are at the technicians but I Hope to talk to you soon from Northern California.

Good 2 see a video from ya....heard ya one day last summer when conditions were good w u and Maryland ..Mr 122 and some other guys in maine were giving u room to make contacts on that day since you don't get on as much....pretty neat hearing u i tried but ya got out there...anyway take care nice ride btw

@@manbark I like your CB radio and antenna setup. You can buy a new Texas Star DX 350HDV amplifier from Copper Electronics website. It will allow your CB radio to transmit 300 watts. POWER !
